| acura EL forums?
i know this is a smaller aftermarket forum for this car but i've only found ONE SINGLE forum which I find hard to believe that contains useful information like DIY/maintenance etc. Honda-tech doesn't even have one for EL's..
clubel /tunedimports.net is the only one i can find.

clubel /tunedimports.net is the only one i can find. | That's pretty much it for EL's since they were only sold in Canada and in Japan as the Honda Domani!!
Also was rebadged for Isuzu as the Isuzu Gemini... anyways go to: www.ClubEL.ca
your best and only bet! |

Yeah considering it's a pretty rare car because most stuff is out of the US and the EL not available out there cuts half of the aftermarket parts. Then you have the Domani's out in JDM land. And the Isuzu Gemini only available for a few years. Makes it also rare. Not too many site ;(

if you don't mind a little bit of modification, you can just go for civic parts (cosmetic) ... bolt-ons, iirc they can use civic parts directly

As you, and someone else already mentioned, www.clubel.ca is your best bet. There are a decent amount of people on that site, which makes researching stuff a bit easier.
Nice to come across another EL owner
What type of mods are you looking for? A lot of Civic parts work on the EL...

I'll post some pictures later, i'm just looking to black my headlight housings but it definitely looks like a hassle.
HID retrofit would be at the same time but doing both would require taking my car out of commission for a few days, difficult during a busy school/work schedule yeknow.
I just bought the car so I'll do some interior detailing, get the leather seats cleaned, mount my amp/sub.

here it is, just took some pictures. http://www.revscene.net/forums/showp...5&postcount=41
i realized the low beam doesn't work, although highbeam + drl does work, and it's not the bulb so i have to just get a new harness.
managed to get the interior detailed ( still have to do the leather seats ) and temporary mount of sub/amp in the car.

Personally one of the biggest problem these days (even when I was on there a few years ago) is that most people from the west gradually just stop using it. All that is left are people from Montreal and Toronto
there are still some BC users, but there's an abundance of people from the east coast.
... and no, the EL never came out in US. Basically we got the EL while the US got the 4 door integra. On the forum (last time I checked), there are like 2 americans who imported theirs in
Most american's think it's a weird accord or canadian spec civic

The EL has a lot of potential and that's why I picked one up few years back..
Joined up ClubEL.ca and made friends with a few members .. even bought a
few parts from members like Kaostik's custom shaved trunk lid and went bananas
on other mods. It was a sweet ride and I enjoyed everything about it!!
My retired EL... was sold to my friend.. |

ScOeDELiC i like the front and how you put an isuzu badge/grill lol but not the rear as much.
nice to see some other EL owners.
turns out why my low beam wasn't working was just the fuse was blown so i replaced that real quick.
my passenger side headlight has condensation but i've looked around and it's a real hassle to take out the headlight, any solutions?
any critiques on my car? http://www.revscene.net/forums/showp...5&postcount=41 |

No quick fix solutions. Either source yourself a new headlight, or re-seal the one you've got (assuming it's not cracked or damaged).
It's a nice lookin' EL. What do the summer rims look like?

here's a picture of the rims, needs to be cleaned obviously about a 1" lip on it
