My car can only be flat-bedded, its too low. So I take extra care parking it, I never want it towed cause I know it'll be damaged and it'll be my fault.

Unless ICBC is vastly different than Ontario, if you're parked illegally, you're 100% at fault for any damages.

to all the guys complaining about no dolleys u are all idiots...first off u can tell the tow driver is still working on getting the rear lifted...u cant put the dolleys on until the car is in the air...nothing was on the news about a tow truck dropping an exotic car so obviously the dolleys were put on. and yes the tow truck driver is just doing his job and im glad that the gtr was getting towed...the car doesnt make the owner better than me.

also...anyone notice the patty wagon in front...maybe they found his cocaine stash or something, the owner could've been arrested

I'm no expert, but I don't see how he's going to fit a dolley with the amount of clearance there is in the front in that pic. Why would dropping an exotic even be news worthy? No one implied the GTR owner makes him better than you. Where does it say that rofl. You assuming there's crack is the same as us asssuming he did not use a dolley...wow. I'm sure you would be pretty pissed if some tow truck driver messed up your tranny!

All these gas humping, Mary Poppins GTR fanboys getting there boners tied up in a knots arguing over tow man not knowing his cars. If towman had a list of all the cars specs before tow then problem is solved. Plus the pictures still dont prove anything.

All GTR's are auto.
as long as you can fit the metal bar underneath the car, then u can lift it up with the dolley.

i are not GTR fanboy

personally i don't like the GTR other than the priceerformance ratio. I just thought it was interesting to see a GTR getting towed. Never really seen a car in that price range getting it's window sill raped by a tow truck driver, plus its a new car in the market so i thought it would be interesting. I didn't even know that its bad to hoist a RWD car from the rears so at least i learned something out of this.

revscene is educational! but on the other note, I never thought this thread would become a bitch fest. I guess thats revscene for you

If you parked legally, tow truck drivers won't touch your car.

no parking on robson during rush hour, mon-friday 3pm-6?pm

lots of traffic during hour, we need the lanes otherwise it's gridlock.

On a nice day like, today, when EVERYONE is on the road, but there are no parking restrictions, downtown traffic is fucking brutal.

Lol i assumed that part of robson was single lane neways during rush hour but apparently not? Neways wouldn't sticking a tow truck there cause more gridlock? And based on my experience with the Vancouver Driver mentality, towing a car even in the opposite lane causes gridlock everywhere.
