legal actions against website has anyone here had to take legal actions against a website outside of BC? if so ... could you point me in the right direction as to how to go about this? recommend a good lawyer, etc... basically i paid for something and the service i paid for is not being done. whenever i ask for an update i keep getting excuses. i'm getting fed up and want to sue them and teach them a lesson. i've been very polite to them the whole time and my patience is wearing thin. i don't want to cuss them out cuz thats probably what i'll end up doing so i want to go at it properly. hope someone can help me out. |
what type of service and which province? |
retrofitting a set of headlights. they are located in California |
don't know about suing that business but have you try reporting it to Better Business Bureau? |
their business name doesn't show up on the search. you don't really have to go through BBB first do you? they'll just do what i've been doing this whole time anyways. write to them to get answers. =\ |
Just get your credit card company to do a chargeback |
its a little more complicated than that. i sent him some headlights to do the retro. which means i need to get my parts back as well. i mean.... eventually .... the service will be performed. but i'm just sick of waiting because its taken longer than what he advertised. i think i'm better off going somewhere else. this is a shitty lesson in life.... fawk! and i paid by paypal... |
