the taillight definitely looks a lot like a Camry light, the height of the damage to your house looks about right for the bumper too and the wheels marks are thin.
the only thing making me think it *might* something other than a Camry is A) the headlight piece doesn't look like it fit a Camry, B) there's no paint transfer to your house which kinda makes me think it could be a car with unpainted plastic bumpers a la older neon or something.
my only guess beyond a Camry is older Audi 100? *shrugs*

There was a lot of paint transfer but it fell on the ground, we have large chunks of metallic silver paint and some of them have the orange paint on them... you can see them in the pic of the light...
or here...
Also we found a chunk of what we assume is the front bumper on the front lawn, probably from the impact with the tree... and it is painted. |

if you can get the paint ID'd at an autobody shop that would narrow down the list of potential cars significantly.
p.s. I see you have a Delica but the pics are down. Any chance you drove it across the ferry and down the Coq this past August?

hmmmm im assuming ur talking about the b13 sentra.. i dont think it is cuz the b13 lights arent round at the top and the bottom, only on the sides. Its most likely the 1991-1996 camry.

i don't get it. What's the point of identifying the car? I mean, it wouldn't help.. or would it??? Anyways, I'd recommend you to not waste too much time into it because it's definitely already something that is a lost to your friend. Now i wouldn't want it to be a bigger lost for you guys; spending time that could be spent elsewhere.

The best would be some kind of province-wide bulletin system for body shops so they would know to alert authorities when a car matching the description with the right damage and paint transfer rolls in their shop, but that would be too easy, lol.

Guy brings in the car for the inspection, ICBC checks out damages and determines if it matches a floating bulletin about that generation of camry.
This is only if ICBC does have a floating bulletin board which could be nothing more than a simple fax or email to each inspection centre. This is ICBC we're talking about though... spend the least amount of time or money, depend on its worth.
