Rent a scooter and visit Datanla. Pretty neat waterfall. Just don't get caught in the monsoons. Da Lat has some crazy ones.

help! just arrived in Ho chi Min City. Not having fun. scammers everywhere. Everyone just wants to pinch and drain you dry for every little thing. no sense of hospitality, just mercenaries. Chicks are hot as hell, but all seem to be gold diggers. STreets are dirty, no real scenery here. Sigh. Revscene save my vacation! I got 10 days in Vietnam!

I've always wanted to go as well, but like you guys I've been scared of being robbed/ripped off. Are there any reputable tour groups out there that travel to Vietnam?

Dalat has very similar weather to us here in B.C. in the spring/summer. The nights are a little cooler. It was the only place in Vietnam that I needed to wear a sweater. They have pine trees there too... just like home. The girls in Dalat are infamous for being the some of the best looking girls in Vietnam.

Nha Trang is very touristy but it is a definite must see. The beaches are amazing. It's super super hot there though. If you are there, you have to go see the ruins they have there. I forgot what it's called. It's on the other side of the Nha Trang bridge.

Hoi An is beautiful. It has a lot of culture there. They have a bridge that is a temple in their heritage part. It's located in Pho Co Hoi An.

Da Nang has this mountain that you can climb and it gives you this amazing view of the whole city. They are famous for their statues there.

If you are down in the south, go to Ha Tien. They have good beaches with these rock formations in the ocean that are gorgeous. My family is from Rach Gia so I'm partial to the south =P
