It's weird how there is such insane poverty in this city, yet i've seen a brabus s class, a murcialogo, and old vietnamese people walking around with d3x's giving me the look of death.

general rule of thumb, the poorer the country's general population is the richer the country's elite 1% is.

im stayin gin a really nice hotel in saigon... sheraton in district one. The STREET FOOD IS SO FUCKING GOOD. I had like 2 bahn mi. But its night now and im scared to go out :O

I am here for 4 more days then im going to hop on a bus and go to hoi an or nha trang.

also everything is cheap here and people are scamming you for an extra 2 dollars and its kinda sad it my defence. This city is breaking my heart right now. Little kids coming up to you trying to sell you napkins.

tonight my xe om took me to the backpackers area and it really pissed me off because thats it's not the vietnam i want to see. I want to eat street food (which i had best buhn bo and bahn mi ever. Like I dont mind staying in a resort in a resort area, but why would i want to hang around australians. I want to see how vietnamese live here.

and even though vietnam airlines has a shitty plane, the food was fucking awesome, the girls were hot, and the liquore is free and the service is top notch

also the humidity SUCKS

Right now its almost 11pm so i think they got the night market and night foodage thing going on at Cho Ben Thanh, should be like a 5-10min walk from the sheraton

I'm in my underwear already. I didn't sleep last night as i didn't wanna miss the metro fromy my hostel in tokyo to narita. so im pretty poooped.

Don't be too scared. Not everyone is trying to rip you off. When going to countries like Vietnam, people are often going to be curious, so you will get a lot of stares and such. Sometimes people will even follow you.

That's not to say you should be completely careless, but don't let it ruin your trip! Watch your wallet and stuff, and try to enjoy yourself :)
