air care and loose exhaust pipe

So long story short, the outlet pipe from my mufler has rusted out and the whole exhaust pipe from the muffler back fell off.

Ive rigged it with some JB weld, epoxy and metal adhesive.

Ive got good flow comming out of the tail pipe, but the entire thing is pretty wobbly.

Will air care fail me / not let me run on the rollers with the exhaust like this? It's on the car and attatched, but the pipe sways up and down.

Its for my beater truck and i really dont feel like spending $500+ for a new exhaust system. Looking for any way possible to get another year of aire care validity on it

TIA

If it leaks between the end of the pipe and muffler they MAY not test you. However if you remove the whole tail piece and force them to stick the probe into the outlet of the muffler that may be your best option. There is no rule that says you need a pipe off the end of the muffler for aircare.

Berz out.
