Online Travel Sites - Booking Hotels
 

I have never booked a vacation online and just a bit confused on something

When I book a vacation package with flight and hotel for 2 adults...I get charged the hotel rate for 2 people.

I am wondering if I can book the package for 1 adult and then book a seperate flight for the 2nd adult to save some money? Because when I build it like this on the website, the total is $150+ less

Since that 1 room already comes with a Queen/King bed, I am just wondering if I can do this...just a little confused on how it works
