You know what separates a good Dynamite vs a great Dynamite. It's JR's excitment and focus. Tonight was one of those show's where he's just super into it and boy did he put over Osprey HUGE.
Billy GOAT vs Dax was fantastic match
Loved the interference for the opener. It's the right thing to do
Wardlow is a beast. Matt Hughes did not age well hahah.
that Tanahashi/Mox segment was A+ for me. Osprey vs Orange Cassidy is gonna be an interessting match.
Suzuki gun teaming up with Jericho ohh boy
Christian finally turned on JB. felt like a big deal
It's pretty crazy yeah.. It feels like 3 years worth of stories happened since the MJF stuf 3 weeks ago! Randy Orton is out with injury!
Roman is taking time off and lost a lot of his conditioning, so I wonder what's up with him... Of course they brought back Brock since they can't build new stars
The Vince thing, a lot of it seems to depend on where the money came from to pay these girls off. Most seems to be from him personally, but if he is paying paralegals 5X the normal salary, that's using company money and that's what would take him down completely.
I too cannot wait. the Jericho/Suzuki-gun doesn't make much sense.
The AEW folks are in for a treat though with some of the names on the card now. I'm also hoping ELP ends up being the next gaijin to break out in NJPW after Jay and Osprey haha.
...and that, is a cross over wrestling show. It wasn't perfect(almost perfect) but it delivered and showcased (somewhat) to the more casuals what New Japan Pro Wrestling is.
And wow, what a treat on commentary with Kevin Kelly joining the booth.
TK revealing that he had already signed the swiss superman and had plans to debut him in ROH, but given the situation, there was no better time than this ppv to debut him.
It'd be a huge waste if Claudio debut on ROH, just my opinion on this one haha
It'd be wonderful if the next one is in Japan.
The string of injuries continues. Had to watch the ending to the 4way iwgp world hw match to see where cole hit his head, likely from Okada's super impressive drop kick.
Dax's shoulder as well, even though he came back and finished the match.
I really didn't like how this show ended though with the brawl
Pretty sure Dax was a worked injury.. But with all the injuries leading to the show, it was very believable!
I agree with the brawl at the end.. It was like they took you out of this special moment to end a special PPV, and you're watching the end of an episode of Rampage. I get that they want to build to a big episode of Dynamite, but it fell flat.
Poor Tanahashi just laying there forgotten as Moxley puts over Claudio as the show goes off the air
I wonder if anyone stayed in the US to be on this week's shows...
Ah but who was legal in the ring at the time the pin was made?
I mean Rick Knox actually sucks so it might not even be kayfabe that the person being pinned wasn't legal... but if they want, the Bucks have a dispute.. That seems very WWE though so I doubt they'll do it
unless kevin dunn and bruce pritchard are gone, don't count on it haha
HHH and Steph both HATE Kevin Dunn, and Pritchard probably isn't much better off. I think Dunn will be gone within like a week, if not tomorrow. If he's still there by the time the next Smackdown airs, I'll actually be somewhat skeptical of this retirement.
It's crazy how all this came to be, HHH failing with NXT against AEW (mostly because of Vince changing his show), has a heart attack, gets basically deleted from the company, and everything he did creatively was erased. Steph leaves before this comes out, and they bury her publicly.
Then someone brings out the first allegation, and it goes from there
Then HHH and Steph are both back in power again. One in talent relations, the other CEO.
This should be what's on TV, it's way better than their actual product!
Io Shirai, who was at the end of her contract and was thinking of leaving, is back. I'm sure Vince leaving allowing her to move up to the main roster was the main reason.
Dakota Kai, who had a tryout on Main Event and Vince said she's no good and was fired, is back. She apparently had an agreement with AEW but I guess wasn't officially signed? This might get weird.
Downloading now, all the streams I normally use were either overloaded with traffic, or being taken down. Looks like there's a lot of hype behind this! This is the first time I've looked forward to an episode of Raw since probably 2018 or 2019
Asuka vs Io will be amazing.. They were in a trios tag team over 10 years ago with Io's sister! Before Io went to Stardom
Jonah pins Okada clean! 1 year after getting fired from WWE
People are complaining but I think this yeah has been really good. Great breakout performances from guys young and old. Tom Lawlor and Aaron Henare have both been super impressive, win or lose
