Yes let's not have a cursed show like last year, that was miraculously still very good. This one looks to be show of the year, in a year where we've already had 2 amazing shows (Revolution and All Star Grand Queendom) and 1 very good one (Dominion)
Don't forget Collision this Saturday!
I have this thing in my mind that Callis is going to recruit Punk to take out The Elite, but they really say they don't want to work together, so... Who is going to be in the Don Callis Family after Takeshita?
My prediction is All In will be more about big party matches rather than like a PPV (which it still hasn't been announced how the rest of the world will watch the show). Like an old school 'showcase' arena event WWE did a few years ago. So I don't expect a lot of lead up and blow offs of big angles, but maybe set up angles for All Out the next week instead. Lots of multi person tags and stuff like that, not many big singles matches, especially not with outside talent. We shall see I guess.
You can tell NJPW was pretty conservative the first time, but are going "All Out" this time, with full marquee matches. I think there's a Hiromu match coming, and it would be awesome if they can get Yoshi Tatsu on the card (next top star btw). Naito I doubt is interested in going to the US. Hopefully this leads to an event in Japan next year.
Punk vs KENTA is being talked about, but apparently Punk isn't into it for some reason. Maybe he thinks all the shit talking KENTA has been doing is legit? Isn't he a UFC fighter though? Come on
Yeah NJPW tour is over so this week people will start showing up. Rumors of someone confronting Punk, but not KENTA since Punk is to soft to deal with the heat.
Main event was a "good match" but that's it. No chance of following Kenny vs Ospreay lol. Poor Okada, that's twice now. His match with Takagi was a lot better though
YOTA TSUJI vs KIYOMIYA lolol. NJPW can't possibly let the guy with the most ridiculous name and the million dollar smile lose twice in a row right lolol
I kinda want to see Ospreay win this whole damn thing. but it wont let Ospreay finish the story if that match at WK18 isn't against Okada for the IWGP World HW Title.
Outside of Ospreay winning, Naito could be the front runner, past that, shooter, narita or GENE BLAST Yota Tsuji lol
I saw that tweet come in and was shocked.. I know he'd been dealing with health issues, but he was apparently getting better, and then this happened. RIP.
switching things around, ALL IN is today
80k+ at Wembley
Card could be better, but there's some deep history with most of the matches that go beyond the history of AEW.
