I thought The Rock was funny but the storyline is so dumb lol

I can't wait to see Cody lose again though so I guess it's effective

i felt like a 13-14 year old kid screaming at the tv seeing Sting come down from the rafters like those WCW days

Sting is a special talent. I hope Ric Flair doesn't die in Tony's Ring as well

Yeah I actually have no nostalgic attachment to Sting, as I never watched WCW until a rewatch like 10 years ago... But even then, the build to this retirement match has been phenomenal. Seeing him come down from the rafters one last time, help Darby get up, and go kick some ass, was one of the all time moments in wrestling. The only thing is why did he wait that long

Also major goosebumps for this faceoff.. I haven't looked this forward to a match in a long time!

Ospreay vs Michael Oku from Feb18 was apparently a 6 star classic. I haven't seen anything from that RevPro show yet... insane how Ospreay goes from that cage match to a 6 star banger just 7 days later back in the UK.

I think there are some extremely high expectations for Ospreay vs Takeshita. Takeshita needs to find another gear for this match and hopefully makes him a bigger star overnight.

Yeah my main concern is they make this an angle heavy match with Callis.. Which will still be good, but not full potential they are selling this on.

if Takeshita can have a showing like Shota or Tsuji against ospreay, the match will slap

but Callis needs to stay the fuck away from this. Curious if TK will use the UE branding now. Ospreay still did the hand signs.

Perfect way for Sting to go out. Funny how in the last three years, Sting doing what people expect Jeff Hardy to do in AEW, all while outshadowing Jeff Hardy lmao.

regardless, what a way to retire.

oh yea.. Ospreay vs Takeshita, first week of march, and Ospreay has 3 match of the year contenders already. Had someone pay for a revpro sub so I got to watch his match vs Michael Oku on the 18th and just fucking unbelieveable.

tho more story and emotion on that RevPro match to take it to another level.

"Pro Wrestling is cool again" The Rock 2024

lmao

Yeah it was very good, and very un-WWE. It's actual pro wrestling once again.

Vince is gone and the wrestling world is so much better for it

The build to WM has been great, after a really bad start before Rock was forced to turn heel (thank god he did though)

Mania day 2 was good, Io vs Bayley the highlight of the weekend. But everything with the HHH jerking really annoyed me. Especially after the Cody win. I get they want to distance themselves from Vince, but this fucking guy? I can't get away from him!

Also this could end up biting them in the ass.

I don't think they're starting Cody vs Rock right now; that was more of a tease for long long in the future.. Maybe next Mania. Unfortunately The Rock is going straight back to movies now.

If HHH is named in that case once it moves forward, than definitely not a great look for this Hunter Circlejerk they moving towads.

that Usos match was absolute trash tho.

Yup but I'm amazed people didn't expect it to be. They stink!

Rumors of Jacob Fatu signing with WWE.. He should replace.. well everyone in the Bloodline. He's really good

Also Tama Tonga, which could extend the angle to all Polynesians (which if you listen carefully, Paul Heyman references Islanders now, not just Family or Samoans)

I wish Tama well, but i think he's gonna be with AJ... though.. i would not mind if AJ takes a shot at cody with Tama by AJ's side

not that WWE would aknowledge too much of this past. nor is there a lot of this "history" to work with, but for Tama, it is something.

if WWE is so adamant on taking shots at AEW, this might be one they could do.

but nothing is gonna be as bad as what's happening on Dynamite. I think its a horrible idea to air the All In footage haha

I think it's awesome! I can't wait. I love it when they fight, and they need to finally respond to Punk's bullshit. WWE promoted his interview on their show twice lol
