The crowd showed up and makes me wish I was there for the show haha.
Im curious how many of these folks have been to an ECCW or NEW show. Rob Fai's been able to book Minoru Suzuki and Maki Itoh to name a few to their shows at the commedore ballroom.
not only that, ELP is another local wrestler who's made it, especially over in NJPW.
Can't forget Taya Valkyrie and Chelsea Green from the Island.
How's seeing Edge wrestle completely different live
Ospreay is a star
I thought his match was pretty boring compared to the first 3 matches because of how slow it was. But that's expected since Edge is 50, he looked winded the entire time.
I like how AEW has more creative move sets and saw a lot of new moves. WWE is mostly superkicks, frog splashes, and spears. Not to mention, jumping out of the ring from the ropes before staring at the crowd for 10 seconds.

Edge is wrestling Malakai black in a barbwire cage match on the ppv... if i read it right lmao.
Bryan Danielson is able to work and do his thing in AEW and its for the better. Same with Claudio, who I thougt was pretty limited in WWE.
NJPW was running their US show at the same time as the Vancouver show so someone like the The Young Bucks and Moxley were down there.
though this NJPW Eliminator match... being an eliminator match has had more build than any other one out there. This is the one match where I want to see Takeshita win, though its likely not happening.
It was a wild stunt show! I wish they played the music the whole time
PPV was solid 8 or 9 for me besides that. Willow vs Mercedes probably match of the show. Followed by Ospreay vs Roderick Strong, and Takeshita vs Moxley. Only bad match was still a fun trainwreck, Jericho vs Shibata vs Hook. I think Hook needs to not be on PPV for a while. Send him to ROH or something, he is NOT ready to be featured the way he is.
Edge may have hurt himself in the cage match, and I am waiting to hear if he's OK. If you don't mind spoilers:
Spoiler!
He set up Malakai on a table and went to do an elbow drop off the top of the cage. Yes, all the way. But he kind of chickened out, and landed on HIS FEET before hitting the table. He was selling a limp after the match, but I have no idea how both his knees didn't explode right then and there.
Naito beating Mox on an AEW PPV is a pretty good gesture for them, after lending Moxley to them for many weeks.
Ricochet made his final appearance on Raw today. Have to assume he signs with AEW later... His talent has been wasted for years, so I am looking forward to it.
