All In 2024 might be one of AEW's top5 ppv's of all time in this young companies history. Both wrestling companies need to do more international ppv's and it seems like its going that way in to 2025 haha |
Stayed up all night watching All In, and it was awesome. A really different PPV from AEW's usual, as the in ring was fine, but they had a lot of entertaining "moments". I imagine they adjusted for the stadium nature of the show. It felt like what WWE would be if it was really good |
yup, stayed up got to watch this one wtih some friends too instead of the usual watching alone thank to timezones lmao Swerve vs BD was just absolutely fantastic for me. outside of the ring work, it was the emotions and storytelling that REALLY made it fantastic. part of me wants to think that having BD's kids at ring side doin the YES chant as he's firing up was to convince them to let him wrestle a little longer haha. (i know this isnt the case but hard not to think this llol) |
curious to see which direction they go to.. considering that netflix is the new home for the wwe in 2025 onwards |
They'll probably shit on him for all the raping, but will say he's gone now so it's okay, despite WWE being part of the lawsuit and them bringing him back in knowing what he did. |
All Out was a very good show. Though i think unprotected chairshots to the head, especially of that force is not needed in wrestling any more. Swerve is clearly the MVP for AEW in 2024. |
Those chairs are totally gimmicked.. They are probably lighter than those thin trash can lids WWE uses. They make a great sound though! I agree great show, one of the best AEW has ever put on and that's saying a lot! |
Anyone here bought tickets for Survivor Series? How much did you pay? |
$235 Row 7 upperbowl! Copped 6 for the squad. Quite a price increase for $110 lowerbowl row 2 smackdown |

That dynamite main event last night really put a reminder out to people that the bucks are not washed up and just like to work with certain groups lmao also what a great main event. reminded me a lot of the njpw multiman tags to develop stories but with the main event scene from 2018 haha |
Yup that was a great main event, and while the booking hasn't been great since the Sting match, the Bucks were never "washed" This was built like an NJPW tag, but they worked way harder than you'd ever see in those matches. Cannot wait for Takeshita vs Okada |
It's been a while since I've looked at WWE stuff This popped up on my tiktok recently and I had to take a look at the full video. This cinematic promo is pretty fire in my opinion. |
I thought it was pretty much the opposite of what I want in wrestling, but to each their own! Just ridiculously overproduced for me. |
if anything. this cinematic promo really presents them as a bigger deal than the rest. hard to say but by this point its really Roman and Codys WWE until Rocky comes back |
All six episodes of Mr. McMahon is out |
I posted my quick thoughts in the Netflix thread It's worth watching if the only version of WWE's history you know about is their version. Unlike the fake WWE and A&E and Vice docs, they actually call out bullshit. It leads to some pretty entertaining moments If you already know the deal, then only episode 2 and 6 are worth watching Episode 6 is a must watch, and was added to the series after the sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince and WWE came out |

For sure some of the Triple H scenes were taken from the D-Generation X episode, and the stuff about Wrestlemania I was from that episode. |

A lot of the topics are well discussed and documented from other series. having finished this. nothing damning, a lot of the "new" things are in episode 6. Had they filmed the ENTIRE thing AFTER the allegations though, it might have been a very different documentary. Time to throw on Wrestling with Shadows again lmao thanks to this doc, watched dynamite late Nigel Vs ZSJ would be something i'd like to see in an actual match. depending on the outcome of Wrestledream weekend, A special singles match inside the tokyo dome between BD and ZSJ could happen. it'd be champ vs champ. |
The original point of the documentary was to be another WWE fluff piece, partly produced by them. It pretty much is that, but with selective fact checking. So it does come across as more balanced than a typical WWE doc, but there's plenty of stuff missing that would make him and the company look even worse. They had to include the Janel Grant lawsuit, but never mentioned anyone else in the lawsuit other than Vince and Brock. It was definitely on my radar that they made a point to say how "shocked" everyone at WWE was when they heard about it. That is bullshit. Everyone knew. The whole company is being sued and investigated, not just Vince. Some people there will be sweating bullets if the case ever goes to trial, or the investigation leads to charges. |
