but watch RR win :heckno:

highlights of G1 Day 19.
Final Night of G1 27 highlights - Album on Imgur

First time seriously following the G1 scene, i followed a bit last year and it was great. This time, I watched all the main matches every night.

Its very difficult to picture the WWE ever doing anything like this anymore. Outside of the gruelling schedule, the talent put on a fucking show.

Really curious if the WWE will ever let AJ vs Nakamura happen on the biggest stage..
hell..i think Nakamura vs Kevin Owens.. or AJ vs Finn Balor could be fucking epic

that is... if they can do the whole "strong style" japanese wrestling thing
haha

SkinnyPupp 08-13-2017 10:43 AM

Well Heyman did say Brock would retire from WWE if he lost or something, so that means he's gonna win PogChamp

Ch28 08-13-2017 10:55 PM

Naitch in ICU and his manager is asking for prayers on twitter.

Not looking good

SkinnyPupp 08-13-2017 11:35 PM

Not if he's gonna fight Jon Jones in December and has to get on the USADA list. This could be his "out" for a bit.

Berz out.

That would be crazy if it was possible! It looks like they'll have to wait until after Wrestlemania though

Tim Budong 08-15-2017 03:21 AM

couldn't Lesner still be champ and go through his suspension

no where does it state that he can't perform for WWE

Berzerker 08-15-2017 09:16 AM

Champ of what? UFC? A fight with Jones won't be a title match as it will be in the heavyweight division.

If you mean WWE champ then him having to train for his fight would probably reduce his in ring time and he wouldn't want to risk an injury before a big fight like that so I can't see him doing both. He's either working in WWE or he's training for UFC. This is his pattern in the past too.

SkinnyPupp 08-15-2017 09:36 AM

I'm not sure but I think the Mark Hunt fight was allowed as a one time thing, since it was last minute. IIRC for all his other fights, he was not under contract with WWE

So they'd have to do something similar here, or wait until his contract ends in April

Euro7r 08-20-2017 07:47 PM

Seriously sick and tired of seeing Jinder as champion. The summerslam match was so boring with Nakamura, literally fell asleep watching it. There is no hype watching him.

Fatal 4 way was good match. Was hoping Lesnar would give Braun an F5 or suplex haha.

Tim Budong 08-20-2017 09:22 PM

Nakamura did all the heavy lifting again, but typical heel finish for Jinder...

BRAUUUUUUUUuuuuuuUnnnnnNnnnNNnnnNNnnn

With regards to Nakamura... He's gotta adapt to the WWE workrate and Jinder is your typical WWE performer. I won't say he has no talent, but it takes two to do the strong style stuff. We are in a weird era in the WWE. On one hand. U got all the indie darlings who can put on a hell of a match and on the other, you have the very WWE bred stars who work a very different style. Cena being the guy with a ton of experience played his part perfectly to make Nakamura look great.

SkinnyPupp 08-21-2017 10:36 AM

Nakamura doesn't work "strong style" anymore, he works "strong WWE style". I think I said that before - he has already adapted IMO

The 4 way was just as good as I had hoped! Fans were going crazy for Brock vs Strow Man (they actually wrestled before in a Rumble and Brock was stiffing him like crazy which I found funny)

This sets up the Brock/Strow Man feud and we'll eventually see him suplex the big guy and F5 him

Either that or Strowman will become an even bigger monster. They really haven't built a guy to be this strong since.. well Brock. Of course the end goal is to put Roman Reigns over, which I am sure everyone will love

Also Cesaro ripping that ball was awesome. I'm sure he would have loved to do that to the idiot fans who brought it in. How disrespectful

And they officially ruined Bailey. I mean this is the roleplayer crowd that boos faces but still. They ruined her

SkinnyPupp 08-29-2017 04:50 PM

That Cena/Reigns promo was an all time great RAW moment

I'm sure Cena's was 99% pre written but I don't think Roman was expecting it to cut so deep. The look on his face was like "Vince WTF"

The thing is, their end goal is always to get him over, but I don't see how they expect this to turn the fans his way. If anything it pushes them more towards Cena. :fulloffuck:

Mike Oxbig 08-29-2017 05:59 PM

Why does vince like regins so much?

Jinder should take roman's spot, he has more potential

Tim Budong 08-29-2017 07:18 PM

Cena has free reign on the mic with cliff notes...probably..
Roman Reigns cuts the best promo of his career and John Cena just ABSOLUTELY WRECKS him. I was sports entertained hahahaha.

However, I think RR will lose and then set up possibly a wrestlemania match
who knows...

heh... im okay wiht this

Berzerker 09-05-2017 08:57 AM

Would have been funny if he lost because Show's feet touched the ground first. Show is looking more like King Kong Bundy these days. I miss the Old Show. The one who looking in shape. Kinda like Strowman does now.

SkinnyPupp 09-05-2017 09:28 AM

Big Show is probably in the best shape he's ever been in the last 10 years!

But yeah Big Show in WCW was insane

Tim Budong 09-05-2017 11:41 AM

big show looks like a big baby without the beard
but im sure strowman would look more like one without his beard hahaa

but yes, big show is in the best shape of his career by far right now

also RR vs Cena promo 2
giving RR the last line probably is best, also RR out did himself..sorta with hte promo..

Berzerker 09-05-2017 12:28 PM

Best shape of his Career? Wut? lol

http://www.accelerator3359.com/Wrest.../shaneshow.jpg

He's lost a lot of weight but early WCW and and WWF show were great. I will admit he looks much better now than he did a couple years ago.

Ch28 09-05-2017 01:17 PM

I still remember when he was so overweight awhile back that his legs looked like they were going to snap under all that weight.

WCW Champion The Giant was probably the best because he actually looked well proportioned

SkinnyPupp 09-06-2017 07:58 AM

He was very athletic too, I recently went through all the 97 Nitro's and he was a highlight on the roster (the main event part anyway - the undercard was actually the highlight of Nitro back then)

Nitro went to shit so I stopped though LUL

Ch28 09-06-2017 12:08 PM

Nitro used to be so good but went to shit when everyone was in some sort of nWo faction and all the others that weren't in the nWo faction were relegated to jobber status.

I love the slow burn that WWE is doing with Stroman.

Berzerker 09-08-2017 09:06 AM

Rumors of Cena vs Taker are milling around. If it's true I'm wondering if he will come back as the American Badass and "The Undertaker" gimmick is what retired. Kind of odd as they have repeatedly used the Reins retiring Taker to push him.
