Halftime Heat, I was expecting a nice house show style match to divert attention away from a shitty halftime show, but omfg that was a fucking AWESOME match!

I couldn't believe how hard they worked in front of like 200 people, who were mostly friends and family

If you don't have WWE Network, it's on their site

well that halftime show was definitely better than the heavy defence SB53
AEW has to at least do what NXT is doin to get over. It ain't easy writing something every week vs the indie circuit

Listening to the Jay White interview with jericho.
Really good stuff. the guy has been wrestling for less than 8 years.

Fale and Balor vouched for him and the rest is history

Ibushi will wrestle in AEW but not on the first show. According to Kenny's interview on WOR. He just opened a wrestling school.

So Lesnar won't be appearing again until WM and perhaps 1 RAW beforehand. I get that he's a draw but I don't understand how having a Champion that only comes out for Major events is good for business. I think the fans are slowly getting the same feeling from what I've seen online.

Berz out.

I see a lot of people complaining about it online but I don't really mind. Nobody is going to beat him for the title on RAW anyway. He is a dominating champion, and whenever someone finally beats him, it's going to be special. If they make the 'holding the belt hostage' thing part of the story (which they tried to do with Roman) the other guy is going to get so over it's not even funny.

In some ways, I think they should have done something similar with Ronda. She is on TV so much, she's not even that big of a deal any more. I think that's what she wanted, but she is so much a bigger star than anyone else on the show, they could have kept her as a special attraction. Especially if she's only there for a year.

I doubt it'll be at this WM unless Brock goes to UFC. I don't see that happening anymore, but he's still being tested so who knows. I think he's just using them for leverage.

Man Brock in AEW would be pretty insane. He could have really good matches there and more brutal storylines.

Brutal! It's hilarious but I don't like how they're pointing out actual flaws in a non-kayfabe way... It could lead to both of them looking like geeks

lol if she goes over after tweeting like that, I could see why Ronda wouldn't want to have anything more to do with fake fighting

Becky is the least babyface babyface I've ever seen, and a certain segment of the crowd eats it up. Good for her, but it's not for me really.

Vince goes back to the well every time, then starts over again. Heel GM, babyface GM, heel GM, no GM, McMahon himself, repeat. He really is too old now to be doing this.

found on reddit.. oh yea. Jay White beat Tana in a great match, Jay White is going to headline MSG. and Ibushi committing to NJPW for now

Quote:
Everyone's bitching that this was completely random on Vince's part and it all makes no storyline sense. It's not random at all, it makes perfect sense. Vince's hands were tied on this. He HAD to inject Charlotte into the main event. Pull up your chairs kids, it's storytime.

You see, years ago in late 2001, Ric Flair showed up on Raw and revealed to Vince that he bought Stephanie and Shane's company shares to fund the WCW/ECW Alliance, thus now making him 50% owner of the WWF. However, Ric secretly revealed to Vince (according to Meltzer) that his teenage daughter wanted to someday become a wrestler and main event Wrestlemania. Ric had already set the paperwork up to ensure that even if he lost power, Vince would always be legally obligated to guarantee Charlotte a spot in the main event someday once she had grown up. (Thus explaining Vince's bizarre and frantic tugging of his ear that night.) There was no staute of limitations in place, so Vince's actions tonight on Raw were inevitable. Flair was a brilliant strategist and had his lawyers draw up an ironclad clause in his 2001 ownership deal that was simply unbreakable.

So the years started ticking away. Charlotte grew up, trained to be a wrestler, rose through the ranks of NXT and now the bill has come due. Vince had to shuffle out there at the last second tonight, frustrated at feeling so helpless, fumbling his words and coming off a bit nervous. Vince McMahon hates being manipulated like that, but it was all good and legal and a deal's a deal.

So you see, this is merely the end result of a long game set up by Ric Flair way back in 2001. This will all come to light at his 70th birthday bash in a few weeks, I'm sure. You people simply need to brush up on your wrestling history.

I was half asleep while watching, and only caught the first 2/3 of the show, but omfg that was the worst crowd there's been in a long time. And I don't blame the show either.. even for bad shows, the stars usually get a reaction. But this time, the crowd was completely uninterested.

I also noticed that the show had a weird flow, like there were new directors or something. Also lots of mistakes on commentary, promos, and matches. Just an awkward show all around. I'll try to watch it again when I can though.

I do hope they bring up the SKY PIRATES~! to challenge for the tag team titles.

They really are dropping the ball with these NXT debuts... First they have EC3 standing around like a geek for weeks, then he debuts and turns heel in his second match.

Then they have Lacey literally walk down the ramp, turn around, and walk back.. what?

Then they introduce the biggest stars NXT has, like they are a bunch of indy geeks, explaining their "gimmicks" like they are a joke. I don't get it!

Totally should have waited... Post Wrestlemania that would have come across like megastars.

Remember Kevin Owens' debut? Dude was an instant star.

These guys.. just look like geeks. Though Ricochet will always get over with his wrestling.

I am so scared for Kairi
