Anyone receive a message from Windows Messenger Service Staff that require them to choose a new Sign In ID?

nope. copy and pasted the website. seems legit, but when i entered my info, says "Your windows LIVE ID cannot be changed at this time".. fuck.

pretty homo, tells me to change it, yet can't be changed at this time. fuck windows live.

yeah, that's what i was thinking too. why all of a sudden?
i entered my username and pw to change it, but like i said, it said can't be done at this time.

ok sounds like a scam to me. better go into your hotmail account right now, go to options and change your password before the phisher changes it for you.

why would hotmail staff need to ask you for your password? they should be able to do anything they want with your account. they can view your emails, messenger chat history, etcetc, all with the click of a button.

I got this as well and so did most of my friends. Going to hold off on doing anything until i absolutely cannot login which they say will happen. However, it does seem legit.

I can't see msn EVER needing your password and in fact they ALWAYS say NEVER give your password to anyone. I had a trojan one time and my account stolen and through emails to hotmail support they gave back my account. They asked what email's I had and what folders so THEY knew and had access to my account without me needing to give it to them. I would be suspicious always of ANYONE asking for passwords.
