why would hotmail staff need to ask you for your password? they should be able to do anything they want with your account. they can view your emails, messenger chat history, etcetc, all with the click of a button.

I got this as well and so did most of my friends. Going to hold off on doing anything until i absolutely cannot login which they say will happen. However, it does seem legit.

I can't see msn EVER needing your password and in fact they ALWAYS say NEVER give your password to anyone. I had a trojan one time and my account stolen and through emails to hotmail support they gave back my account. They asked what email's I had and what folders so THEY knew and had access to my account without me needing to give it to them. I would be suspicious always of ANYONE asking for passwords.
Berz out.
