thats because when his son first meets him, its not actually Flynn, I think its a program that Flynn created which is a representation of him. Later on in the trailer we saw the REAL Flynn (guy with beard)
i know that.. im pointing out the special effects they use to re create Jeff Bridges' younger face..
i'm going to see this. but i will be extremely skeptical

the movie is worth watching for sure. i never seen the first tron, and know nothing about the story. and i still greatly enjoyed legacy. watched it in 3D.
the music, as already stated, is AWESOME. and yes, daft punk appears. (you know them, they never show their faces ever, so when you see them in the movie, you'll know right away ;p)
the story is meh, but forgivable. visual effects were amazing.
to sum it up, VFX and music makes this movie really good ;]
saw it on monday at scotia bank theatre (cast and crew pre-screening). bro and mom both worked on some parts of the movie ;]

Hahaha was anyone else surprised at how unabashedly "Vancouver" the movie was? Causeway, Lions Gate, Yaletown, Robson, Granville Bridge + bus lane signs, Scotia Tower all in plain sight.
I saw Tron II the other night and, though it was visually appealing, I thought it was drawn out and boring. My friends and a good portion of the people in the theater seemed to share similar sentiments. Perhaps you have to be a true Tron fan to really enjoy this movie.

That would be a plus in my book. Can't wait to watch it next week after finals.
I know what I'm gonna be for Halloween next year!!!
Saw the movie last night in IMAX 3D and thought the movie was great. Some parts were dragged out but I think they made up for it with the action scenes that followed. Can't wait for Tron 3!
