Great...GM, a failing company, to introduce a segway, a failing product.

Brilliant.

That's so fugging stupid. There's zero storage space, you have to wear harnesses (which detract from the get in / get out easy viewpoint), they're wide, so not really going to be going down the sidewalk... GM should burn for this one.

....yet everyone here was talking about how Toyota's I-Real (or whatever the hell it's called) was a cool idea and that it should be brought over here.

Top Gear approved!
you can use an iReal or a iSeg but you gotta have a helmet on first. In theory the iReal can accelerate from a standstill like a normal kei-car....and that makes it ok to be used on the road.

The segway will be a wide bicycle that uses the lane, do you want that monstrosity to use your lanes?

isn't the segway illegal here because they can't be on the sidewalk or the road?

^I remember seeing one on hastings as I was entering hwy 1.
Thought i was tripping out at first as I was coming towards it, but as I got closer, there was no doubt it really was one.

Not really the same thing... the I-Real is more like the regular segway. If it was a useless wide 2 seater, I'd be bashing it as well.

there's nowhere acceptable to drive it, and nowhere acceptable to park it. sidewalk = no, road = no, too big for the bike lane, wtf.
