OP, i dont know about your age, but there are people, mostly young people, who thinks themself is the shit by gettin CRUNK.

When I drink(I mean really drink), I get a little louder, I get more social (everyones friend in the room) and I'll dance harder then MJ. I lived in the middle of nowhere in my early twenties. We drank, we drank a lot. Way too much. These people I drank with are still my best friends. None of us are losers, we have life goals, aspirations and a future to look forward too. We just let loose once in a while. Just can't handle the next day so well anymore, so these moments are far and few between. BTW I will be drunk at my wedding (Post speeches/dinner of course). I can guarantee it.
I should note, my fiancé barely drinks at all. I kind of admire it, but mostly just really enjoy it as she can always drive home!

I don't drink too much (definitely not a beer drinker) but I like a rum and coke or vodka 7up every now and then. In my 30s now I have it pretty dialed in on how much I can drink while not feeling like shit the next day on those occasions where I do plan to drink a fair amount.
Gone are the days where I can go out and drink and go to work the next morning, not a chance I'll be working hungover anymore lol.

There is no other feeling better than a nice 3 beer buzz.. feel like superman at dat stage lol..
For whatever reason i seem to not get killer hang overs anymore as long as im not going completely insane and drinking 10 beers and 2 bottles of wine. Can drink a tonne and be OK the next day whereas like 6-8 years ago i was getting 2 day hang overs..

i don't like the hangover..
Rolling a Big fucking bag of Green on the other hand.. the worst that is gonna happen is i laugh too much or order too much Mcdonalds.
But some of you guys can drink like a fish and have no hangover somehow..i guess you can do anything in your 20's and be okay....it fucking makes me half dead the next day,i have a second heart beat in my head.

I can handle quite a bit of booze, but 250 mL of hard liquor is my cut-off, if I want to be 100% the next day.

^That's like my alcoholic friend who said he would curb his drinking to 6 beers. I made the mistake of thinking he would space them over the entire night. Instead he chugged them all back to back.

I drank a bit before, but it doesn't take much to make me feel terrible. Just 5% and 15 mins and I'll begin to feel extreme throbbing in the temple of my head in unison to my heartbeat. But I also can't stand the taste of alcohol, nor the smell tbh.
And the stupidity of people wanting to drink until they're smashed like it's a cool thing. Not that it always happens, but just the fact that's pretty much the reputation that alcohol+partying equals to. I want no business in acting like that so I avoid it and have always felt alcohol was not for me. The only times I've drank it in the past was due to peer pressure and experimentation, but nope, after just having a couple drinks or beer a few times, it was the same result every time. I just didn't like it and I never craved it.
Only downfall is that it can get kind of awkward when I turn down alcoholic drinks, even in social environment. I have to constantly turn down free beer in the change room after my hockey game.

Funny enough I overheard a couple talking yesterday at lunch about how neither of them “like the taste of alchohol”
No offense but what’s the “taste of alchohol? Like straight vodka? Lol
There is probably more variance in alcoholic drinks than non-alcoholic. Saying you don’t like the taste of alchohol to me is like saying you don’t like the taste of bread or meat etc. it’s a pretty broad statement lol

I’d say it’s an acqiured taste. No one liked their first beer, just like their first coffee. If the stuff makes you nauseous I can see how people may be appalled at people getting loaded. It just doesn’t agree with everyone. Beer mmm, wine mmm.. scotch ahhhhh

Some of the best stories that I have told friends is about seeing other friends get so drunk that they hit on "hot" girls.
I attended a friend's birthday party a few years ago at his home. My friend's brother got so drunk on vodka and beer that he started flirting on one of his friend's friends.
My friend's brother told us that this friend's friend "was a hot girl". He kept asking that person for "her" phone number.
Everybody at the party can tell that this friend's friend was not a girl but a "man". She had an adam's apple in her throat. She had a deep voice.
My friend who was celebrating his birthday had to pull his brother aside, and tell him privately in another room that the friend's friend is a tranny.
Then my friend's brother yelled out "She's a man???!!!" 
The tranny was not impressed.
Good stories happen when some people get drunk.

Of course I have a pretty small sample size of what I've drank before... but of the drinks I did try, there was something about it that I just didn't like, and it was pretty similar across on the drinks I did try. Maybe they were all within the same "group" of alcoholic drinks so they might have all tasted the same to me?? I tried some of that Mike's Hard Lemonade one time, and I was thinking... this isn't bad... but wouldn't it simply be even better if it was just cold lemonade?? I just don't see what makes it better with the alcohol.
Plus I really didn't like the "side effects" I received from alcohol.
I guess it simply is an acquired taste.
I like drinking energy drinks occasionally, and I usually joke with people that it's like my replacement for alcohol. One time I was at a party and this guy that had a beer in his hand asked me how can I drink that energy drink stuff, it tastes like "horse shit". LOL. I was thinking, that's what I thought your beer. To each his own. haha
And I've tried some of that Rockstar Vodka drink.... hollllly.... I think I drank half a can, never again. LOL.
