Rollerblade Bearing's Maintenance

What do you guys use for maintenance on your bearings? I have Mission 5500, I believe they come with Abec 9's.

I made my own tub and strain full of this citrus cleaner...

then i used an easy no-mess spray which was easy to apply and inexpensive....cost me about 10 bucks at ice level. Treated me really well, but i don't maintain my bearings anymore.

For the fact that my skating level cant keep up with ABEC 9s, its actually easier to buy new bearings (for what i need, abec3s) every other year. $35 bucks every two years isn't bad for me at all.

ABEC 9's must be flying! I am on ABEC 7's and can barely keep up when they are fully primed.

Are your bearings sticky after you strain them from the citrus? I think maybe mine is just OLD but after the dip, it is quite sticky.

Or maybe I just need to change out the cleaner. LOL

ok that's a different statement

having components that are more than what you need is one thing, but not being able to "keep up to them" is another

i guess it was just a mis statement

Oil. I forget what I use in mine but there is a certain type you must use. I'll repost when I look at the label. Haha
