just put all the super car here

F430
LP560-4
R8 V10

Prius (I'd love to have that little thing as a DD)

penner2k 04-24-2009 03:05 PM

Bugatti Veyron - crazy fast.. yet comfortable to drive

Audi R8 (just wish they would come out with teh diesel version)

Corvette ZR1 - as fast as the best supercars.. without the cost.. with the way things are going it will most likely end up being the best car to ever be built by GMC..

CTS-V - finally built something better than the Germans

Ariel Atom - I just like it.. enough said.. lol

turbomelon 04-24-2009 03:17 PM

Of this decade meaning that they are new 2000 -2010?

If so most of the examples above make no sense.

1. Mercedes CLS
2. Zonda F (came out in 1999 and it's 2009 so that's debatable if it qualifies)
3. Alfa 8C
4. Gallardo 560
5. ?? Corvette someone mentioned above. I think it's crap BUT it's a top performer like it or not and it's cheap. Engineering wise it's pretty cool. Hard to just pick 5.

hk20000 04-24-2009 04:07 PM

GTR just coz it's power to the people
ZR-1 coz it embarrasses the above
997 Porsche after model change where PDK/SST/DSG meets real driving machine
Civic Type R coz it's just fucking ridiculous how 220HP car can whoop so much ass from factory. It's a gesture honda is making: "don't rice out our cars anymore"
Clarity FCX Hydrogen car ftfw.

Reason why not many real supercars are in my list: They are too aristocrat, most of the time people who can afford them have too many other things to care than to drive them the way they should be driven. The formula doesn't change, either - lighter, bigger engine, looking sillier, and charging more money. Not technologically surprising in any way.

Eastwood 04-24-2009 04:22 PM

Zonda F
Ferrari F430 Scuderia 16M
Bugatti Veyron
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
Toyota Supra MKIV (If you count the model until 2002)

Kinda like the anti-rice gesture Honda is making in this commercial with their Civic.
