(Crappy quality clip but it kind of gives you a feeling for the overtone of the show)
I know this show has been referenced in a bunch of other threads but I think that it can probably have it's own stand-alone thread.
The basic premise is that the star of a 60's adventure show is all grown up now and has his own family. He has his own series of (mediocre) adventures with his own two sons and bodyguard.
It borrows heavily from Johnny Quest (on which the series is based and eventually features guest stars from) and makes references to G.I. Joe, Scooby Doo, the old 60s comic book shows (Batman, Incredible Hulk, Spiderman), old sci fi, etc.
Its Adult Swim material so its got its own share of pop culture references and can be fairly clever. Plus it features Patrick Warburton (Puddy from Seinfeld, The Tick, Joe from Family Guy) as the voice of the Venture Family bodyguard.
Has anyone seen it?
