Help: Planning an Asia Trip Hi Folks, I'd like some opinion on places to visit within a 15-17 day trip with my friends (all guys). TW seems to be all the rage so we'll definitely hit that up. We're looking for a good cultural experience, maybe visit a museum and take in the sights here and there in the morning and some party action at night (no trannies). We would also like to visit a nice beach to relax for a day or two. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!:thumbsup: |
Shanghai... to party Hainan... for the beaches |
Thailand for the trannies Korea for the cosmetic surgeries |
Malaysia, for my Torture Chambers...... |
Taipei's party scene is much better than Shanghai. |
Going to Asia to get dirty? Or good ol clean fun? |
LOL just clean fun, I dont think we want to hit up any massage parlors..no thanks to STD's or Hepatitis. |
^^ you should definitely take advantage of the cheap massages though. No not the happy ending ones but a massage straight up. |
I actually went to a legitimate massage and they still want to massage the peepee. But my god I have no idea what a vietnamese masssage is but did it ever feel good. |

OR Philippines Everything is so cheap in there except for imported stuffs!!! The natives can speak simple English so it is easy to communicate. Also, the month of May is coming up so there are so many fiestas, cultural events, carnivals, and summer beach parties. The nightlife in Manila and Boracay is crazy. There are also many interracial kids so you get exotic and different kids in there. or DUBAI I havent been there but I heard it is one of the best destinations in the world. Just google the place and you`ll get a lot of interesting informations already. |
Dubai sucks. RSX check out any location in south east asia. I just came back from vietnam and did all those things that you talked about. Plus your dollar goes rediciliously far. Thailand is the same. Avoid cambodia and laos though but thats my opinion. |
Try these cities: HongKong -> Beijing -> Macao -> Seoul -> Tokyo. If you lose money at Macao, then just fly back home. if you win, try korea and japan. :P |

Theres nothing there..... Couple of decent Casinos.. thats about it. You can go through Macau in hours..... |
Just to offer an opposite opinion about Macau ... I found Macau to be so much more interesting than HK culturally ... the beautiful fusion of Portuguese and Chinese architecture, nice squares and charming side streets, awesome food that you can't find in HK anymore ... I could stay there for two or three days and not get bored, without ever setting foot in any casino. |
Thanks for all the ideas! I'll keep you guys apprised on where I end up with. |

not if you stroll into the imfamous old lisboa basement. on a side note, its a lot cheaper to fly out of Macau vs Hong Kong check out AirAsia for flights from Macau. |
