I was driving and was at the distance where when the light turned yellow you have to make a split second decisions as to whether to stop (safe to do so behind) or just go through...i went for it. I was in the intersection when it was yellow but it turned red half way in, I believe the camera flashed too...will I get a ticket for running a red?
I know from reading previous threads in this forum... the red light camera ONLY flashes if you enter the intersection on a red. If you did enter it while it was yellow, and it turned red while you were in the middle... you were not caught on camera.
If you entered it on the red though... don't worry, you'll have pictures soon to prove it

Basically, there needs to be 2 pictures of your car before you get a ticket. The first one showing you entering on the red and the second one showing you leaving on the red. If you entered on the amber and left on the red, there would only be one picture of your car and that's leaving the intersection when it's red, so you would most likely not get a ticket.
