^ Exactly. Those LRV's (light rail vehicles) are operated by humans. humans = lots of room for error. Canada Line = controlled by computers with several fail-over mechanisms.

maybe I'm the only one who thinks this..but if you could NOT spot something that big on the road, then you really shouldn't be on the road.

Think about it. No.3 road, car vs train crash, police cruisers + ambulance + fire trucks
good luck with that. We definitely got the best end of the stick as it is. Either overhead or no trains at all should be on no.3 rd.
BTW most accidents in the video occur where left turns are not allowed in that intersection because of the train track, most of them are caused by blatant traffic violations.

I think the main problem is that those people have in their minds that they're driving in the left lane, therefore there should not be anything coming up from behind them on the left... so that's why they're not even shoulder checking.
I mean... think about it... if you're in the left lane and you're turning left, do you actually shoulder check behind you before turning? I don't.

You can see the arrow and stuff on the ground before the intersection. Its not the train operators fault.

I agree! I think 99% people on revscene won't check for things coming from behind on their left as well when they making a left turn. |

LOL.. the funny thing was it was bought for the wife who was a C. Lai, and she almost crashed it at her own backyard on the first day of owning it. She didn't know how to get into the reverse gear, and she nearly drove into a electrical wire post in the back alley. I was washing my car at that time.

all those roads were marked that you can only go straight. so really it's driver error and people trying to cheat the rules of the road

People can't drive as it is, with other cars on the road... imagine the carnage of having stuff like trains within smashing distance!!
