since we're talking about P-car's here's my dads 993 911 cab, during the winter downtime he basically replaced much of the drivetrain and took apart the motor till there wasnt much but the block left in the bay, replaced plugs, valve guides, rebuilt injectors, wires, a bunch of other stuff all on his own, did some painting too which im sure porsche trueists [sp] may not agree with but he likes it lol

we started it up for the first time in probably 4-5 months yesterday, sounds pretty great and stronger [as far as i could tell] from before the operation lol

i have driven an '89 speedster before. it was black on black, no top driving on highway, possibly one of the best memories i have ever had driving a car. they are quite rare and go for over $ 65K. not that quick by porsche standards though.

ilvtofu 03-03-2011 09:56 PM

@hondaracer is that a turbo S bumper?

Pre-owned with only 79km? Did the first owner pick it up, drive it around the block, then decide he/she didn't want it anymore?!
