Still love the look of the R32 GTR, and can't wait until the R34s become legal in a few years.

Yeah, I love those classic GTR's. How much do you figure one of those are worth these days? And also what are the exact infringements as to why the cars aren't allowed in Canada for 15 years?

I think the going rate for a landed, relatively stock R32 GTR is about $10-13,000 nowadays, and a few grand more for the R33. The reason they aren't allowed in before 15 years of age has to do with the fact that they did not originally comply with Canadian standards (I can't remember the exact specifics), and you couldn't modify the car to comply either. The only recourse was waiting for the car to be 15 years old, after which things get much easier for importation.

R34 GT-T becomes legal next year already, and GTR in 2 years.
I still don't think many people will get the GTR due to the cost (about $40k landed for the average one).
