They are brothers but they do not own the gas station on the corner of Westminster and No.2Rd.
They worked there as employees and got caught stealing pops. The real owner called the police and the cops told them "This is not China. You can't do ths shit here." My friend worked with them before untill they got fired.
They only have temporary insurance on the vehicle because they are too cheap to get full insurance.
I have seen them fueling up the car with $20 and have 1 day insurance during summer time.
They always have a seat cover on the passanger seat because they are afraid they get wear on the seat.
They are baller wanna-be.

belaud 04-23-2012 12:40 AM

No, they're quite rich, they just try to be "humble" about it.

g-velocity 04-23-2012 01:00 AM

They should be more than average wealthy because they also own (or used to) M6 and W211 E63.
But they probably spent all their money on buying the Lambo and Ferrari and cant afford the owing cost.

Reminds me of some kid I grew up with, worked 2 jobs so he could lease out a 7 series BMW and act like baller. He's now 32, single, broke and living at home and oh, he's still paying off his 5 year old 7 series.

donjalapeno 04-23-2012 07:59 AM

They had a SL500 and a 645ci, not the AMG and M variants. They also have a Murano and might still have the CLS. They also had two townhouses in Steveston, but judging by pictures, they've moved in to a larger house now.

kchan 04-23-2012 10:52 AM

I've personally talked to the brothers before, friend of a friend
They are very down to earth people, pretty chill and humble with their wealth

They buy temp insurance because they don't see the need to have the car insured all year long wasting money...
I think it's a great idea if anything..

Compared to the other mainland ballers, these guys are so much nicer
It's just their way of "chilling" around Downtown is weird, otherwise these guys are no different than majority of the revsceners here

Verdasco 04-23-2012 11:12 AM

who said you can not have fun driving around with your bro? yes it is weird but some brotha loving bonding going on here

I fucking swear I saw a white one with hood scoops on 49th & Elliot 2 days ago, was trying to snap a pic but fckin phone lagged

belaud 04-23-2012 01:08 PM

scoops on the intercooler it doesnt have?

kwy 04-23-2012 01:11 PM

Those things look kind of cheap and flimsy imo. I think it might have something to do with the massive fender gap and wheel wells.

G-spec 04-23-2012 01:53 PM

most sports cars are always like that from the factory wheels aren't wide enough and fender gap is always too much, my rule of thumb for modifying is always and the FIRST two mods anyone should do to their car are lowering and proper wheels.,... i posted a photoshopped brz in auto chat months ago with some work wheels, here's just a few i found on google search right now, huge difference and car looks 10x better

I know a few people making close to a $1,000,000 a year (profit) and they would never ever buy a $50,000 car let alone a car over $100,0000 so like I said it depends on what your priorities are.

since my priorities are family, house, cars...if I cleared 1m annually, i would be buying $100k-$150k cars every year....:fullofwin:

According to my friend who finally chose to drop a deposit on the FRS over the BRZ two weeks ago, the first shipment should hit the docks sometime this week, if not being delivered to their respective owners already.

I was a bit skeptical about it at first, but upon reading that you guys have spotted it already, it's arriving a lot sooner than I thought.
