If those are TE37 Tokyo Time Attacks/ADVAN GT's, I would reconsider :fullofwin:

nabs 08-11-2012 12:55 AM

I would be so paranoid parking where he parked in any car, it even looks like the rear of the car is in front of the ramp to the parkade exit. and soooo close to the car in front.

Why the fuck would anyone consider that. I'm pretty sure a jdm badged g35 in average condition doesn't belong here.

Not a great parking job by the 458 owner.

+1.

It's all exotics and luxury cars and I see this guy posting a g35, I was like :suspicious:

westopher 08-11-2012 11:17 AM

It would be one thing if it was actually a sick car, like g specs g35(?) but with dumb badges and some RIMZZZZZZ doesn't make for too impressive.

They may not be STI/EVO/S4 fast, but holy fuck their fit and finish is incredible, as well as having a price point below the STI too, heard from owners their spiffy cars as well.

Yes, I wish i bought one :okay:

Energy 08-11-2012 02:30 PM

Wow I just checked VW.ca and its $40,000 for that Golf R. Thought it would be closer to $35,000. But apparently its fully, completely, totally loaded from the factory.

north america got screwed over. we didnt get the option of dsg and the recaro seats. also we didnt get the led tails.

the fit and finish is great but after a few months u will get the typical squeaks and rattle of a vw.

6sp man is way more fun than dsg
The seats are tight and comfortable
North america did get the led tails.

46546544 of my friends have vdubs from a first gen jetta to a 2012 CC and none have any issues with "squeaks" and "rattles"

we got screwed on no recaros, we were blessed with no dsg.
just like a sti, I'd enjoy knowing that everyone with my car drove it in stick.

First one looks like a 300sl or a replica? Where's the windshield?

LP700-4 08-12-2012 12:18 PM

That doesnt look like a 300sl though. Maybe a 190SL?

The second one is a (replica?!?) Shelby Cobra Daytona

It has a small windshield just for the driver only if you take a close look.

the seats are fine but its definately not as nice as the recaros. thats why pg in surrey is offering them from europe.

thats funny, 2 friends with MKVI R had to get LED tails installed because it came with the car. Their R must be special.

some ppl prefer the dsg as its faster than a manual and not everyone can drive a manual as well as some others. Also only avaliable in a 4 dr, and some prefer a 2 dr.

got a brand new mkv gti and sold it within 10 months of owning it. PCV blew, Diverter valve blew, dsg mechatronic replaced and transmission was leaking. Squeaking dashboard dealer couldnt fix. A few friends also got their fair of problems including the cam follower wearing and ended up needed a new cam because the cam lube was damaged.

If the the one in the other pic got a custom plate, it belongs to a guy I know and he doesnt have an R8 or an RS5
