Cool beans. Seeing as that is your first post, did you make an account just so you could say that :lawl:

I don't know why everyone goes nuts over the g wagon, I've driven my cousins g wagon and the ride quality is awful, interior cabin is loud, can't corner worth shit and aerodynamics are awful. Honestly if you removed the Benz logo people would think you were nuts to spend 6 figures for this SUV.

G55 AMG hauls ass like nothing else though. but mostly agree with you it's not really worth the money.

I'm just a browser. Saw that one pop up and remember seeing the video on tsn. Thought I share since this is a hockey city more than anything.

Volvoman 01-22-2013 07:09 PM

Makes sense that its Luongo's G. I saw this guy next to it, I think he's a hockey player

I believe that's Jordan Eberle of the Oilers.

Luongo's had his G for a long time! He got it shipped over here when he got traded from Florida.

Could be shipped back to Florida but that's another story :troll:

I, myself, have never driven one before. I have only been in one, and it was quite a ride! I just really like the "old school boxed-type" design of it. Whether it was manufactured by Benz or not, it's still a great design regardless!

Harvey Specter 01-22-2013 08:55 PM

It's "different" and does stand out but imo isn't worth the price tag but I guess in some ways that's why it's appealing to some people because it's expensive and exclusive.

DjMZ 01-22-2013 09:57 PM

All G's whether its the 500 or 55 or 63 SOUND SICK. SO MEAN STOCK... I dont know about you but i love the way they look... I know they drive like shit, but its the presence it gives and the the "Baller status". Range Rovers are WAYY overplayed, and i Love they cayenne's cuz their amazing to drive but i dislike MLs and X5/6's.. I dont think their good looking or are very good on or off the road. G's are worth the sex appeal... especially this one http://www.roogio.com/images/SR-Auto...angle-view.jpg

That's the closest thing to off-roading it will ever see.

It's a 1940 Ford :teach:
It would appear to be tastefully done as well, hopefully it does not have the banal Chevy 350 under there and it still has its original flathead (V8)

^^think I saw that SV cruising down Minoru in Richmond yesterday.

xjc11 01-23-2013 04:51 PM

wow are they daily driving that SV?:ahwow:

shabusen 01-23-2013 05:11 PM

I know! Alas my DD is about 1/25th the value. :)

TheStig 01-23-2013 05:15 PM

I like it when people frequently drive their exotics. Residual value aside, it (hopefully) means that they're enjoying their purchase.

shabusen 01-23-2013 05:23 PM

I don't know if it was weather-specific, but the driver appeared to show considerable restraint in keeping things very conservative (more than this envious poster likely could).
