There's another RS, exactly like that one recently imported to Vancouver. different seats and way less miles ;)

LOL my buddy actually asked if I wanted to take a couple pictures of the car, he did some of the work that was done to it

jing 08-29-2013 12:40 AM

Is that 993 legit? Headlight washers appear to be a giveaway?

the conti GT/flying spur's W12 is twin turbo. The Phaeton gets the non-twin turbo W12 found in the A8.

Thanks! Stephen's bro is my friend, I believe he gave him a hand throughout the project.

1exotic: DAYYYYYUUUMMM SON lol, figured it was only a matter of time till you shot that RWB

boostfever 08-29-2013 08:33 PM

I personally like the SSR's better.

Stiig 08-29-2013 11:31 PM

What's so special about the RWB porsche?
Is it just me or does anybody else prefer a clean 993 vs the rwb...

+1. There are nice subtle widebody kits, and there are over-the-top widebody kits like these. Those wide fenders look like evil tumors coming out. But I guess some people like this sort of stuff.

And that wing just looks incredibly silly.

I wouldn't say I prefer it, but I love either. I'd much rather have something rare that came from a porsche factory, like a 964 rsr or 993 gt2, than a RWB, but the RWB is beautiful, and car that is modified with true passion, and a sort of rawness. Either or, basically any incarnation of a 911 when in good condition is a fucking work of art.

also agree. I'd like both. The RWB cars look like a super functional, no nonsense, evolved version of the GT2 race car re adapted to street use. It looks more like a crazy Homologation special than a tuner car.

the older 964 Carrera 3.8RS was one of those no nonsense type of limited run cars... looks great and is a great factory "tuned" version.

Both "lips" are ugly as shit.

But everyone has different taste. I for one dislike the rocket bunny widebody FRS because of the exposed bolts, I hate stuff that looks tacked on.

Not sure why people don't mold it when they have money for widebody, do it properly by molding it and make it look like a finished product.
