Is that Drake's Bug? It has orange interior! Maybe he put a stupid wrap on it

A little late from the auto show. Absolutely LOVED the F-Type coupe in person:

Drakes bug is a Sang Noir, this one seems to be a Vitesse of some sort. Google came up with nothing :suspicious:

Good lawd those 993s.

Speaking of.. Just picked up a 97 C4S 6spd last Friday. Been talking to the local owner for 2 months and am really happy to have it home in my garage. A few cell phone pics for now. :)

Fantastic! Enjoy driving it for a few years and sell it for double! Wish I had the means to take advantage of the aircooled excitement. Congrats! Any plans for it or just enjoy it as is?

TouringTeg 04-04-2014 06:14 AM

^^ Exactly. Searched every day for a year to find this one. Posted a wtb ad and the seller responded. Luckily the seller never listed it for sale and wanted it to go to a good home. I plan to enjoy it and pay it off for now. Eventually some minor upgrades like FD short shifter and bilstein struts.

I might as well put my name in the hat right now. When you are done with it, if I haven't been priced right out of the market, keep me in mind. Similar situation happened with my car. I contacted Chris at CG to ask if he knew any of his customers were planning on selling their e36 m3s. He put me in contact with someone who was on the fence about selling their car and wanted it to go to a good home so was struggling with the idea of listing it to deal with the bullshit that comes along with it. I offered asking price, and he threw in a free set of wheels and both of us left happy. Enjoy your new car. It truly is a beauty.

It took about 5 years to find my E36M, I know the waiting game was a painful one. I can only imagine for a good condition 993. Congratulations man!

Saw it up close this morning (no photos allowed), it's really controversial but you have to respect the amount of work done to create the paintwork. It's really something different up close I'm mixed about it lol.

Its more work to make a nice car look bad than to make a nice car look good, so yeah I'm sure there was plenty of work that went into the paint.

If you know a decent welder for the 993 you can turn your mufflers into the aftermarket sport mufflers (which I believe are like 600-800 for the pair) by welding the pipe in between in and out flow

My dad did it on his and it really increases the throatyness as low RPMs

Thanks guys :)
Westopher, will keep you in mind. This is the kind of car you want to go an enthusiast.
thumper: lol
deadbea7: wow thats a long time. My wife was already sick of hearing about potential 911s. When this was came up it was stretching my budget but I could not pass on a local arena red on black widebody with lots of recent maintenance.
Hondaracer: thanks for the heads up. So those motor sound mufflers are pricey. The previous owner thinks the exhaust could be motor sound or aftermarket so who knows.
