We had a brand new 991 Turbo arrive at our shop yesterday, some photos (not the greatest) before it left earlier today. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1993381&type=1 https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/...54109584_o.jpg https://scontent-b-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/...68223163_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...28671952_o.jpg |
New 991 is bloody gorgeous. |
Usually not a fan of Porsches, but the new Turbo depicted 2 posts above is HRNGHH!!!!!! Love the new LED system at the front which definitely sets it apart from other Porsches. WUNDERBAR! |
What's with people/factory specc'ing 911's with clear tail lights? I don't think they are aesthetically pleasing at all. But what's my opinion worth, I'm poor. |
I actually fancy the clear tails. Unlike the usual clear tails (ie. 2008 STI hatch), Porsche seems to have it done well! But that's my opinion, I'm poor too. |
The turbo with the LED lighting looks amazing, definitely seperates it from run of the mill 991s, but only car geeks like me would notice the difference. Hard to justify spending $200K+ for a 991. You are talking Ferrari and Mclaren price range now.... |
Well, to be fair, thats talking Ferrari California pricing, which is an absolute abortion of a car. If the 991 turbo S cost the same as a 458 I'd still take the 991, but its close to half. The performance #s on the new turbo S are fucking astonishing. Again, one more guy who's opinion is that of a poor man in here, so I'll go back to looking for my 81 911 SC.:alonehappy: |
^ Hey Westohper, curious why you want a 81 sc vs a 84 and up Carrera with the 3.2 and G50 tranny? Some of my fondest memories as a child was cruising with my dad in his 1980 white sc targa...... |
Lol because its all I can realistically afford. Sounds like you got your good vehicular tastes from your Dad. Very cool. |
^fair enough, still a brilliant timeless machine regardless of year. I personally think the 78-88 porsches are the most beautiful porsches ever made......dare I say even more attractive than the 993. |
I'm not actually technically in the market for any car at this exact moment, but if something awesome pops up in the 20-30k range in 911s, or e30 m3s I might jump on it (pending the sale of my place in Edmonton). Its lofty, but the deals do exist out there. |
Not a CTS Coupe It looks better in person http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps54f26480.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps1bec7892.jpg The MSRP :heckno: |
Lol looks like a painted red brick of cheese. |
cant buy class. |
That cts coupe would look way better in black. Any car painted in that maroon red would look unappealing. |

That's not a CTS coupe. It's the ELR - caddy's version of the Volt...but the MSRP is pretty ridiculous lol. I know they're technically different systems/drivetrains, but I'd get a Tesla S. |
I think the ELR would look better if it had an MM design wrap, some PUR wheels and carbon fibre exterior trim IMO |
Jebus, $85k for that?? It'll be worth $25k within 2 years. |
