Super car heaven at Banff, Alberta
I was on my way back from Calgary.
The F40 was amazing to look at. And the rest of the cars.

I was driving into the "elephant" section of the parking lot and spotted 8 SUVs in different colours going into the lowest Zoo parking lot... was thinking "hey, those look like Porsche Cayennes..." and on a closer look at the side and back profiles, turned out to be Porsche Macans (invite only 3 hour auto-cross/test drive event).
Though the front looks similar/same as the Cayenne, the side and back profiles are different and very sleek, with great numbers/specs (the Turbo version 0-60 is 4.4secs for... a SUV).
Proceeded to take a few "spied" snapshots and spoke with one of the instructors on availability (waiting list, earliest delivery is January 2015): | Went for a test drive for the S already, very nimble and the exhaust note is quite intoxicating as well. Body roll was there but much less than you would expect with a SUV. The back slopes down quite quick in the back so that may be a turn off for some.

I always thought the macan would be like an SQ5. I drove my sisters the other day and it was pretty nice. What do you think about the Macan. I wana try the Turbo!!! haha

Maybe we went through this before, but whats so special about this kit over other kits that might be available for Porsche? Seems like everyone loves it because it was made by the hands of Jesus or something? Understandable it does look boss as hell, and I'd love to own one (even though it's not really my style) but I don't know what the big deal is. Thanks in advance.

I have been told (my buddy is the one doing the 2nd RWB in Van) those RWBs handle and drive really well, but I can't see how a car with wheels stuck out 1ft wider than OEM could possibly drive well. Especially when the car was never designed with such crazy offsets. Doesn't seem RWB does much suspension modding except a set of coilovers or airbags.
