Had my car parked beside this 458 at Fairmont Pacific Rim valet yesterday evening. What a car.

Shark Tank 06-23-2014 02:15 AM

Black CF roof would literally set the 458 off. Surprised Ferrari owner isn't stopping at Full Serve gas station

dared3vil0 06-23-2014 07:19 AM

No. Super cars are perfect the way they left the factory.

Yeah so the attendant can spill gas on the paint?

Super cars have to adhere it govt regulations like regular cars, so for me, even super cars benefit from lowering and a wider stance to look more visually appealing

dared3vil0 06-23-2014 11:15 AM

Fair enough, if we're talking an $8,000 set of custom forged wheels, wrapped with ultra wide, super sticky R-comps, i'm in. To wrap a beautiful white 458 with a carbon fiber vinyl roof is stupid.

The roof color is a 10k CDN factory option you can request from Ferrari.

Here's a local 458 with the option done. Again the contrast of the two colors is absolutely breathtaking.

Have to agree that the black roof looks great on a white car with the proper matching sideskirts and mirrors and lip.

But since that one is a spyder it wont really matter that much since roof is not always up.

mikey2781 06-23-2014 03:33 PM

^I'm sure the guy is talking about REAL carbon fiber, not some shitty MATTE carbon fiber texture bull shit that I see on a bunch of riced out cars...

I want to puke every time I see a car with a fully wrapped hood, roof or trunk in carbon fiber vinyl.

I know some of you RS guys do it but I'm not gonna sugar coat because it is fugly.

Those porsches that come from factory with those ugly as fk matte black hoods are nasty too, yes I said it. QQ.

The guy stores the car in the dealership at their request.

He comes and takes it out when he wants to drive it, and when he returns it they clean it all up for him a put it right back in the showroom.

Pretty awesome deal for the dealership and the owner.

Hondaracer 06-23-2014 07:21 PM

meh, rather stare at it in my garage at night and not have strangers hands all over it during the day

Pretty awesome deal for the dealership and the owner.

Same deal was with the blue LFA at regency Lexus on Burrard. Not sure if they still keep it in the showroom though.

^ I'm sure the owner has that fuck you money so he doesn't give a shit. He could probably buy another LFA without it putting a dent in his bank account.

There's supercars and then you get into Hyper car ranges. Hyper car owners are very wealthy.

I used to work beside Regency Lexus for a while so I got to see it everyday :D

If instead of the 599 GTO their was a GT2 then that would be sick. I am cringing a bit at the gt-auto.ca decal. Now I don't know if its a watermark or actually on the car so...

I have withdrawal if I don't see my shitty purple m3 everyday. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I couldn't have a look at my 300k super car whenever I wanted, never mind drive it. After all, the dealership isn't open 24 hours like my parking spot is.
