Isn't that like an f-650? It looks like the cabs they use on new cube vans/campers and such.

It's beside the photo (not in the photo) .

Detox89 07-17-2014 02:01 AM

CLS63 is way more fun to drive than the RS7. I have the CLS63 and my grandma has the RS7 and the RS7 is just plain boring compared to the CLS.

heleu 07-17-2014 07:18 AM

RS7. Just because of the way it looks.

Wait your gradma drives a RS7?

Boostslut 07-17-2014 08:16 AM

That's what he wrote! If he drives a McLaren MC-12 it's not out to lunch for grandma to have a RS7! That being said, balling ass grandma!

sonick 07-17-2014 08:39 AM

lol that is comparable to an almost-grandma (probably early 60s?) asian lady in my building who drives an MM-Design Panamera on HRE's.

Definitely an F650, the most worthless vehicle ever made. That ones even more useless since it was lifted.

Same series of truck as ours was, but the black one is a 4x4 chassis while ours was a 2wd dually. Such cool trucks, but they're big and heavy. Definately not a city truck.

Yup, it's exactly one of those.
They put a custom cab and box on top of an F650 3 ton chassis and make it all work.

So, how the hell do you tow 15,000lbs of tractors around to different sites without an F550/650? Some piddly ass little F250? Or maybe go with an F350, a capable truck in it's own right, but not even on the same level as the F550/650. The truth is, I could tow a camper with a FIAT, but nothing beats using the 25,000 lbs towing capacity of an F650. I've towed cars and a trailer full of ATV's and dirtbikes on the Coquihalla numerous times without even noticing the trailer behind me. Drop it down a gear (via the Bully Dog tuner), and you will be passing unloaded trucks all day long. It truly is the best way to tow anything.

So it's not unlikely that gammie drives an RS7.

The F650s we used were decent trucks, though. As Hypa said, the capacity of the commercial chassis is a dream to do heavy work in comparison to the only relatively capable F350. The entry price is also very reasonable, especially when you look at similar size Kenworths, Macs, etc. Now, to buy one to cruise around town with rather than work suggests someone is compensating for something...

Lol more like basically owns all of downtown/Vancouver. Surprised to hear the rs7 isn't as exciting as the cls though. Basically every review I've seen says the opposite.

TouringTeg 07-17-2014 12:11 PM

Dat kitted miata ! I like

Everymans, what is the story behind the crashed black 993tt?

originalhypa 07-17-2014 12:44 PM

^
that 993 crash is a shame. Expect it to be sold on one of the Scott road car dealers with a "clear title, no damage".

:(

So true.
Being a 2wd it didn't take well to the clay and mud at some of the places we had to go. I remember thinking how much better the 4x4 version would have been that day.
:lol

The entry price is always what got me. So the F650 with some nice options is about $108k. You can spend upwards of $85k on an F350, and that's before taxes. If you're hauling heavy equipment, there is really no better choice.

But I see some of these gangster guys driving them around Langley, DT, and Haney. It's a status symbol/attention grabber as opposed to good transportation.

I'm not that surprised to hear it. The CLS is truly a blast to drive. I haven't driven an RS7 to compare, but the CLS offers serious competition for the Audi.
