So, how the hell do you tow 15,000lbs of tractors around to different sites without an F550/650? Some piddly ass little F250? Or maybe go with an F350, a capable truck in it's own right, but not even on the same level as the F550/650. The truth is, I could tow a camper with a FIAT, but nothing beats using the 25,000 lbs towing capacity of an F650. I've towed cars and a trailer full of ATV's and dirtbikes on the Coquihalla numerous times without even noticing the trailer behind me. Drop it down a gear (via the Bully Dog tuner), and you will be passing unloaded trucks all day long. It truly is the best way to tow anything.
#because work.
#because overkill.
If you're actually towing near its capacity, then kudos because I've never seen one with so much as a tissue box loaded in it. It's still ridiculous to use it for towing small loads unless it's the only truck you have.

lol that is comparable to an almost-grandma (probably early 60s?) asian lady in my building who drives an MM-Design Panamera on HRE's.
My grandma is actually 76 but she always wants me to pick out her cars for her. As long as they have four doors and a big trunk with all wheel drive she is happy.
On a side note im not saying the RS7 is a bad car quite the contrary, its just i think the CLS is more fun to drive in general ( almost as much fun as an M3/M4).
As for welcome to Revscene thanks ive been here for awhile just kind of a lurker i guess.
Rebuilt status or not I would buy the 993 if it were in my budget. Only way I would be able to afford a 993 at a heavily discounted price more or less : /
that feel when you see 2 nsx's but have no pics....

Would you take the CLS63 or RS7? cant make my mind up which one I like more..
RS7.
The interior is comfortable, surreal, yet you feel like you are in a 2-door performance sports-car (it's faster than the R8 V10 PLUS and as fast straight-line as a 458 at half the price), and the trunk space is MASSIVE.
Had the opportunity to sit in one and the interior quality is there.
The RS7 is going to be face-lifted (along with the A7 and S7) next year... can't wait to see a face-lifted one.
Same series of truck as ours was, but the black one is a 4x4 chassis while ours was a 2wd dually. Such cool trucks, but they're big and heavy. Definately not a city truck.
Yup, it's exactly one of those.
They put a custom cab and box on top of an F650 3 ton chassis and make it all work.

Apparently detox/ family owns some building downtown.
So it's not unlikely that gammie drives an RS7.
Welcome to revscene.
Thing is, the new ram HD dually can tow 30,000 and not look like a completely penis extender lol, i do understand the need/appeal, but if i had the resources it wouldnt be mine lol
What you say about heading up the coq fully loaded and not feeling it is exactly it though. Couple years back we went hunting to the Kootneys and a friend of my dads brought us up in his rig:
30" arctic fox with full kitchen, queen sized bed, and 2 quads inside, then 2 quads on the sled deck and all other shit in the box/trailer
Larson hill, etc. even as a passenger sitting in the back i was like wow...insane you dont even feel the trailer whatsoever

Everymans, what is the story behind the crashed black 993tt?
Not too sure. The red corolla on the right is what hit it. It happened on cambie street and 10th near city hall. I think the porsche was maybe trying to turn and the corolla ran a red. Just an assumption though.
Seen the kitted miata on commercial street about a month ago.
But I see some of these gangster guys driving them around Langley, DT, and Haney. It's a status symbol/attention grabber as opposed to good transportation.
More like INTIMIDATION factor. If the gangsters are driving these monster trucks its basically look at how big my balls are bravado. the Bacon brothers had a illegal armor plated BMW 7 series.

How is intimidation and armored plated BMW in the same sentence
That tells me that someone doesn't want to get shot. Hardly intimidating IMO.
Wow. Possibly a targa converted to look like a 959. Rotec distributes replica RUF rims out of Vancouver
i saw that car getting electrical/stereo work done at a shop in richmond. it's an old targa with a fibreglass kit. bondo everywhere. and what you see is matte white primer. the wheels are replicas with massive spacers behind them because of the wide body... it's quite scary up close

BMW/Benz sedans are considered gangster car/ mafia type whips.
The intimidation factor increases tenfold when you black the windows out/put really deep dish chrome wheels on them. The murdered out look is mainstream mafia mobiles. Its depicted in films too. The Yakuza are notorious for driving really luxurious cars with the boss usually sitting in the back being chauffered around.

not to be racist or locationist or w/e you wanna call it, but by that logic, is that why some surrian's put big ass chrome rims on their car? chrome rims are outdated as fuck and really need to die off imo.
and lets be honest here, if you're waving around an assault rifle, you could be driving a fucking blacked out smart car and still look "intimidating"
