Every time I see that GTR with all the screwed on bits and pieces, I can't stop thinking about how broken it looks.

vancouver chinese car club.. a defunct club and it didn't last very long. truth is rich Chinese are no longer coming to vancouver and car sale numbers are hurting. there will be less and less new exotics on the road. i anticipate this might change as immigrant investor program reopens next year.

GOOD

I'd rather see exotics driven by enthusiasts, not social climbing status seeking prats.

Rich Caucasian old money types are very stingy with there wealth and tend to invest in appreciable assets. I often see extremely wealthy old money types drive your average cars. Rich new money Asians are buying exotic cars as asian culture is more about face and have to one up each other.

I have noticed a trend lately as super car sales are drastically slowing down in vancouver. Ferrari vancouver used inventory is sparse. Weissech has 4 aventendor for sale. They use to sell out immediately and if they had any stock it was only like 1 in inventory.

Without chinese new money millionaires splurging on exotics vancouver super cars are going to be less common save for the immigrant investor program re opening

It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the aventador is like 5 years old now, and there is lots of inventory floating around in general? It just has to be the lack of rich asian immigrants?

STFU, you and Gululu can go be butt hurt about your buddies having to actually follow the proper immigration channels elsewhere. Sorry but Canada is trying to be fair to everyone and give everyone who wants to live here fair opportunity, not just those with money to burn. You don't like it? Go somewhere else.

mb_ 07-25-2014 07:58 AM

"used to sell out immediately"

that's because 9/10 Aventadors that came in were customer ordered lol

yeah right, cutting the investor program affects the fmov and weissach inventory that quick... :joy:

Ferrari of Vancouver needs to list their cars correctly first before selling anything. They list FF and 599 as "V8".

love that mini! looks minty too.

As for no used inventory.... partially due to not as many trade ins on new vehicles in the last couple years. Since young Chinese guys are coming and scooping up most of the new inventory, they don't have anything to trade in = less used vehicles.

But I'm sure a year or two from now when the next MR engine V8 comes out, there is going to be a ton of 458s traded in... not sure who is going to be buying all of those.

knight604 07-25-2014 11:14 AM

fuck the mini, gimme that porsche

Shark Tank 07-25-2014 02:08 PM

F360 Modena
For being a 10+ year old car it still looks sick. Would seriously consider buying a 360 Challenge Stradale just to hear the exhaust note in George Massey Tunnel.

Good luck. Prices have gone up quite a bit in the past few years for a CS. Some have been listed for close to 200k which is what it sold for brand new. :okay:

993 Turbo S is a rare sight on the road. There are a few on the market for $360-450 USD.

Technically not Vancouver (I'm in Kelowna), but it was pretty sweet to park the lowly Prelude next to the Vantage and near the R8
