Thanks for clearing that up.

Looked like he had the R under GT emblem in the grille instead of the 'GT' being on the bottom, but I was pretty damn far away.

Still a pretty sweet car.

1970-1977 was the first gen, why would t be badged as a Datsun though?

Toyota Celica - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I really want a 1g to put a 1UZ in with ITB's.

donjalapeno 09-10-2014 11:45 PM

^ don't know why it was badged a datsun and it was a four door....

Im trying to find the root of this little case of mine lol

edit-

Found it...it was actually not a celica it was a 72' Datsun Bluebird. Mystery solved.

Those early 70s rwd Japanese cars are seriously works of fucking art. They take the beauty of the old American muscle and cram them into a smaller more tossable package.

Well, that's true. Porsche's are my cars and you would never see me mistaking a 964 for a 993 or a 996 with a 997. Ferrari's are novelty thing where the owners are all like "look at me" even their trademark color Red screams attention. Owners stereotype are snobby, better than everyone else attitude.

This is the only way Chris Harris is allowed to test drive a Ferrari

Not ignoring the 458 but there's so many more choices in the Porsche lineup that I would kill for Cayman R/Boxster S/Carrera S/GT2/GT2RS/GT3/GT3RS/Cayenne Turbo/991T/918Spyder

The only thing that Ferrari WOW me was when I heard the Tubi 360CS in West Vancouver a few years back. Ferrari made that car right and I would actually have that model in my garage if I become super successful & rich.

LHD though? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they only come in RHD? Perhaps someone took it upon themselves to convert a 2.5RS?

Nay, Porsche's are the #1 attention whore/asshat mobile.

"Choices". Porsche has always made one car, with the occasional second option available every once and a while.

Correct. It is a 2.5rs with an ej207 swap and 22b conversion.

Pretty cool that someone is willing to spend the cheddar to create a LHD 22B replica. Car looks amazing!

tofu1413 09-11-2014 12:07 PM

I wonder if its the same one from washington...

I remember seeing a full 22b conversion car with washington plates

yes, they look less aggressive on the conversion posted. smaller in overall size.

The rear quarter work must have been extensive. Everything else, I would imagine, is bolt on.
