They were at Cars and Coffee as well!

The arena red one is just on RUF's

Out of all those cars, the most special color is the 964 at the end, OEM color called Rubystone Red

10 second GTR in mission running on E85... probably could easily run 9's

CTR2 has a very distinctive rear spoiler that you won't miss. Also I highly doubt you see a CTR2 in Vancouver considering there rarity/exclusivity/price. People with the money to shell would rather flaunt there millions and drive a brand new flagship Lambo/Ferrari/Rolls.

Seinfeld/Gates & Myself love our Porsches!

Matsuda, your 964 is siick man. Love those speedline wheels, look so perfect for the car. I think the 964 rounded bumpers have aged very gracefully and think they look better now then ever! 964 Turbos are going to the roof in pricing and even the overrated RS America's ($100K+). I want to get a 964 before the prices start going up like 993s.....there is a factory widebody 964 on craigslist for $65k......

Jgresch 09-15-2014 03:09 PM

Mazda 3 with 964 conversion.

TouringTeg 09-15-2014 04:33 PM

PCA Meet. They are RUF replicas made by Rottec. They look nice.

Matusda very nice 964! I notice the euro bumpers and side markers. Where is it imported from?

964's are hot right now. A C2 manual coupe is about 35k-40k now (unless it's a Quebec rebuild) There were 3 for sale in Vancouver last October and then they were gone. Two were guards red and one was silver. I didn't want those colours at the time. Now I realize they were all great deals at 25k CDN Example 964 C2:

I just missed one in Pemberton on Friday. Sold within 24hrs sight unseen. Line up of buyers for it. 1990 C2 manual coupe, guards red on black, 160kms, repainted. Lots of nice upgrades including new suspension. $26,500 CDN. You have to be ready to buy and FAST.

westopher 09-15-2014 04:44 PM

As much as I LOVE aircooled porsches, the prices are just out to lunch on 993s/964s.
Look what shitty 993 money can get you. Say what you will about 996s, but truth is, they are just a more reliable 993 with ugly headlights and some coolant. They didn't "lose their soul" as so many people believe.

I met a 911 owner recently who has 4 air cooled and just picked up a silver 50km 996 TT. Says a lot. So much car for the money. A beautiful car in person too.

tofu1413 09-15-2014 05:50 PM

996TT are solid cars.

just not a big fan of the exterior (just the headlights honestly) and the interior (much plastic, very boxster, but could be addressed if it had a leather dash, and carbon interior package...)

https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...33d8825371decb

was helping my uncle's buddy selling his 996 last summer. local mcl car, no accidents, PSS10's and an extra set of Forged Fikse's . only 16k kms... helped him sell it for $53k... buyer bought it at full price the next day. (I think i priced it too low for him... lol)

Stook 09-15-2014 08:43 PM

fyi 911 turbo of all years have full leather interior as standard equipment. dash, door panels, rear quarters are all covered in leather, plus some small bits here and there.

Matsuda 09-15-2014 08:50 PM

Lol I don't own a 964..I only own a camera...that can take photos of...cars...=(

I think best value for the money are 996TT and 996 C4s......for $30-$55K what else can you get with similar quality, durability, and performance?

xpl0sive 09-16-2014 06:52 AM

You can get a GTR for around $55k....

996's is the ugly step sister in the Porsche lineup save for 944
But there's a lot of value in 996 TT if you can get over the ugly headlights
Personally I could get over the aethstetics and would own the 996 as it performance is breathtaking. Doesn't hurt the MSRP for 996 was over $100CDN and you can find prestine low example ones for $40k-low $50K

Even the 996 GT3/ GT3 RS/ GT2 are considerably cheaper than their 997 counter parts.

Every Porsche enthusiast wants a 993/997/991 but a 996 is a chance to own a super car for most of us who can't afford $100K CDN asking prices

But what IF you win the lottery though?

boostfever 09-16-2014 01:55 PM

Barely any photos in this thread recently; a lot of texts... :heckno:
I'll try to get it back on track.

One of our customer's brought me to his garage to show me part of his collection which included a 996 Techart widebody TT with Martini livery as well as a Mansory 997.2 TT. Didn't feel right to ask if I could take a couple pictures since it was at his home but maybe some of you guys have seen the cars around!

All the super cars/exotics are ready to go into hibernation now that sun is gone and rain is going to be here. Don't expect many "spottings"
This is why living in California you see exotics year round
