Please don't lecture me about passing on right.
This stupid SUV has been hogging the fast lane for for some time now.
I'm just glad that I noticed LFA coming in HOT!
I tried to turn off my radio, but ended up hitting CD and made it louder

LFA sounded awesome....
So awesome
But damn that's seriously a little quick, assuming you're doing 110-120, that LFA has to be going upwards of 160 based on personal experience to be flying by that quickly.

If there's enough room for you to pass on the right, there's enough room for them to move the fuck over.
This.
You can't fault someone for passing on the right when we have so many self entitled assholes in this province who wont get the fuck out of the left lane.
I see it every morning: car merges onto the highway, and immediately cuts across 3 lanes to get into the far left lane just so they can sit there going slower than all the cars in the right lanes. Fuck off.
It's honestly like an epidemic when it comes to driving and it's causing super fucking unsafe situations. I see it every single day.
The worst part is I'll come up on Somone who isn't even doing the speed limit in the left lane, be on their ass, flash my high beams a few times before either passing in the HOV or right lanes and when I look at the person who's cruising in the left lane, they didn't even have a fucking clue that there was Somone behind/around them.
A certain demographic makes up about 90% of the left lane cruisers I see..

I don't see wrongs with not removing trim.
The purpose of plastidip is to protect the substrate layers.
If owner's priorities were to protect (in form of total sealant), then I see no wrong in spraying over vents/trims/and emblems.
U must understand that spraying plastidip is fundamentally different from the traditional auto refinishing sense.
we have done many jobs where owners actually specifically demand that plastidip be sprayed continously without removing underlying trim. why? to protect the whole car, including complex texturized trim materials and/or chrome surfaces that would otherwise be subject to harsh environment.
I'm not a fan of plastidip either, looks horrid, but I respect their decisions.
3m 100% clear vinyl is the better alternative to plastidip, which is already very popular in China

I found a really good alternative to plastidip is automotive paint, and proper prep work. Or there is always the option to buy a car in the colour you want.
Not running into cars or walls when parking is a great way to extend the life of your paint.
I get plastidipping your 20 year old car with rough paint, but seriously........

Your sarcasm has forced my morning coffee onto my keyboard. Well played
Let's just say there's been a lot of improvements in the spray polymer business.
Finishes are getting smoother and smoother, glossier and glossier. It's beginning to be difficult distinguishing between Plasti Dip and traditional vinyl wraps. Polymer coatings are technically better in all aspects - the time required to finish the car, not having to remove body panels, cost effectiveness, color spectrum, and durability.
See the images above? It's not paint, that's Plasti Dip. If services like that are offered it's definitely cheaper than a vinyl wrap costing $3-4K and saves you a ton of money from getting an actual repaint. Not many people end up keeping their cars long enough to justify an actual automotive repaint since it costs too much anyways.
On another note: Plasti Dip does suck if you stick with the DIY equipment and have very little experience applying it. 95% of Plasti Dip jobs I've seen in public are pretty terrible. There's a chameleon 3-series running around Burnaby and it looks terrible

I had this debate with someone awhile ago, some tool spouting off about how he could have dipped my car for 1k, and I would have saved 2k over wrapping it and all this BS.
The truth is he was re-dipping his car like every 2 months, all the dippers claim that this is just because its so cheap, and they can quickly change colours and shit, but in reality the dip finish looks like shit after one winter of even semi abusive use.
Whereas, you pay triple or whatever, but your wrap will look good for years. My wrap still looks brand new after 2 winters, and will probably continue to look just as good for 2 more.
So sure, if you want to change the colour of your car multiple times, go for it, dip your car. But vinyl is still ahead of the game if you want real quality.
