Contgrats on the pickup! The r8, especially the v10 only seems to get better with age. The design is timeless in the right colour combo, which clearly you have.

Spoiler!

No trade-ins? Kept the Beemer and the Bentley?

originalhypa 08-08-2015 04:41 PM

The r8 is such a sick car, abd the options you went with are just perfect.

Well played!

Nope, no trade-ins. I was getting basically getting a price of a new Honda Civic for my 7 so my parents will be keeping it.

GS8 08-08-2015 06:24 PM

My friend picked this up for $1500. He plans to restomod it, starting with K24 swap :megusta:

Yes. Just needed a new alternator ($200) and battery first. Runs really well but he's replacing all the fluids and filters (right after these photos were taken). Then he'll sort it out and figure out his build process.

He could easily drive this as is but wants to restomod it for longevity and reliability.

He took me for a spin in it. For having only 80ish hp, you wouldn't know. It's a real blast to drive!

1st time spotting an immaculate facelifted 2016 RS7, carbon optics package  The pre-facelift RS7 with running Daytime LEDs (when moving) looks better, but the facelifted RS7 without the lights turned-on (when parked) looks better:

You can't see it in the picture but it actually had one. Also had Ontario plates on it.

One of 350 made for the LHD market. So yes it would be pretty rare.

white rocket 08-10-2015 02:57 PM

Pretty much any LHD FD is rare nowadays.
