From what I saw when I was looking hard it's very comparable. It seems like anyone who is seriously looking over in Europe is willing to buy from any continent.

Z3guy 09-14-2015 09:05 AM

^ not sure, but I would be interested as well........

I agree that RWB is a decent price to save the headaches / wait time of having one built. Air cooled buyers are looking everywhere so Japanese cars aren't much cheaper.

I remember looking for a 964 a couple years ago and there were 3 964 manual c2 coupes on vancouver craiglist for weeks. A silver one and two guards reds. I didn't want those colors so I didn't go for any of them. I regret missing out on them but managed to snag my 993 a few months later and couldn't be happier. The 964 is a more raw driving experience.

doesn't seem to have changed much over the years... wheels, tires, tow hook in the front, and where did the rear spoiler go?

westopher 09-14-2015 03:26 PM

Does anyone know who/where it was originally built for?

daval 09-14-2015 03:49 PM

built in osaka, the ad says.

westopher 09-14-2015 04:00 PM

Ahh missed that part somehow. I wonder how much (or how little) the person bought it for that brought it over here to sell.

rriggi 09-15-2015 08:28 AM

He's making quite a bit if someone buys it at his asking price.... Kinda funny watching them trade hands in Japan for reasonable money, then watching them land and price skyrockets lol

Z3guy 09-15-2015 08:35 AM

^ I enquired about buying one from Japan, landed here, they aren't that much less expensive than what the owner is asking for the Yellow Midas one.....

A few from my somewhat recent trip to Vancity. :) Will I be shunned if I start a "Sick Cars in Calgary" thread?

That 918 is super fucking awesome.
If I get the chance to ever spot it in person, that will make my day.

Hondaracer 09-21-2015 07:02 PM

the martini livery is fucking awesome

originalhypa 09-22-2015 09:57 AM

Ok, so no one would ever accuse me of being a real photographer, mainly because I suck.
But I still like to share the odd spot I see in my travels.

This one shocked me. I heard it before I saw it, and it sounded mean. Like an MMA fighter dressed in a suit, it was classy, scary.
