I've seen that one in person. M50 engine from a 1992 325i and ESM wheels.
Apparently though the car was meant for the crusher after some major damage on a race track, so kudos to the owner for bringing it back, even if its just a shred of its former glory.

if the engine has the right mods (big cam, headers, chip) I bet it would drive better than an oem E30 M3. The only reason the M3 came with a 4cyl was because of European Touring car regulations......as the saying goes, "there is no replacement for displacement".

I know it's a potato phone, rainy day pic, but I love this car so much.
It was great to see him on the road on a rainy November day. But isn't that the beauty of the Porsche? The kind of car that you could drive in all weather conditions, unlike so many other cars. I'm a little shocked that the Targa c4s is upwards of $180k* though.

* I built mine in Miami Blue with 20" wheels, big brakes, 6 speed and leather interior.

Saw this last night night on the road then again at VCM Victoria while picking up some dash bulbs. I thought it was an M6 at first as it is quite a big car. Those brakes!
