Perhaps Porsche is filming a commercial in the Lower Mainland in order to take advantage of the variety of terrain and road conditions here?

I know for a fact that car manufacturers like BMW, Mazda, Lexus, etc, bring in their own staff, foreign workers with a temporary work permit, to drive their cars during the filming of TV ads. These foreign workers also work as "car prep technicians" to make the cars look good on TV.

We also have a good talent pool of film and camera crew in BC and a low Canadian dollar. Maybe it's more affordable to film a Porsche commercial in BC than to make the commercial in Europe.

Was going to buy a SLS before the R8 but test drove one and the thing was beyond tail happy so I guess someone couldn't handle the car below in the wet weather. And Ielieve this car was just sold a couple weeks ago, damn shame because these things are becoming ultra rare and going up in value.

^Those two cars are just part of the FMOV's owner personal car collection, and they are stored on the top floors. Laf being sold for $5mil is probably just a rumor. Resale at this point would be breaching the agreement and the owner would get in trouble with Ferrari of NA.

^ I think that Reventon changed hands a couple of times here in Vancouver, I read somewhere that the previous owner is Asian and changed it for a red Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce

Talked to a guy a while back who was taking care of the car collection of his cousin who owns a reventon. We chatted for a while. The collection included a countach, a 550 maranello, an m491 package carrera, a carrera GT, a 997 turbo s among others. I know csb, but fucking mind blowing to think a car as rare as the reventon has more than one owner in Vancouver.

GF's neighbour upgraded from their SLS to the AMG-GT.

Personally I liked the styling of the SLS more than the AMG-GT. (Kind of like I don't like the look fo the new S2K concept, the original looks alot better.)

Has anyone seen the 3 orange Aventadors parked right outside Coast Restaurant at 4:30pm today? It was wickedly cool, with one of them having the DMC kit installed on it.
