Can't win in Vancouver. Don't drive your car, "ooo what a rich guy, he doesn't appreciate his car." Drive your car, "ooo big deal you drive your car." Buy a 911. Revscene will idolize you. /rant |
Actually its more like: Drive your car and post snapchats with the vocabulary of a fucking 14 year old girl at a Beiber concert and get ragged on. Someone posts a picture of their car in the rain = cool, nice to see that person driving their car Someone post pic of car in the rain with a caption stating how crazy they are for doing it = pretty laughable |
Coming from a city where they use sand and salt during the winters, I personally don't see rain being that bad. I'd say the lower mainland has some of the cleanest used cars in the country |
I really don't understand why people continue to care about how people use their cars, regardless of the value. It's two different views on the same thing: Person 1 shells out hard earned money for their dream car (whatever that may be, it could be a Prius for all I care, actually no, sorry anything but a prius... It could be a yaris). That person wants to use their car as much as possible and enjoy it as much as they can for as long as they can. Person 2 shells out hard earned money for their dream car (again whatever it may be, perhaps a new Mazda 3). This person decides that they rather save their new car for the moments when they can truly appreciate driving it, for example road trips in the summer, or late nights cruising with buddies. Neither is right or wrong. And all of ya'll are sitting here bench racing. Quit worrying about it, it makes absolutely no difference to your life... It's like your watching two Americans arguing over politics, one side is going to say democrats the other is going to scream republicans. Meanwhile you as a Canadian are talking shit like you even have a horse in this race, you don't just sit the fuck down and appreciate the hilarious show your watching. |
Are you ranting about a completely different discussion? Because no one has criticized anyone about driving their cars (or not) in any conditions from what i'm reading. |

Nobodies saying anything about person 1 or person 2, what's laughable is person 3 who seems to think that driving a car more like person 1 makes them special and tries to brag about it. "Driving a car? On the roads? Are you mad? You crazy fool you, living your life on the edge and such." |

But you've been here long enough to know that in many previous instances someone has come a long and typed something idiotic like: "He just parks it in his living room and doesn't drive it" or conversely "Wow what an idiot for driving that around in the rain, should be in a museum" |
sick pictures bro's. oh wait. you aren't posting any |
Is that GT3 RS a wrap or is the livery actually paint? |
From what I've read they don't do PTS on the gt3 RS so that means only what you see is what you get for paint options. Unfortunately I can't confirm since I haven't scraped up enough money to try and order a PTS mint green RS |

2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS For Sale $399,999 - 1356552 Makes SR's car seem like a bargain |
Porsche should be pulling dealerships licences for that kind of shit (obviously I know SR is not a porsche dealer, but the one posted in CA is) |

On the other hand, I am just trying to make sense of this... Given the limited allotments of GT3 RS to each dealer, how does a customer exactly get ahold of one? I am sure there are plenty of customers in the lower mainland with cash and ready to purchase a GT3 RS, but dealerships will have to select who to sell it to? |
PTS is Paint to sample. Its like individual program is to BMW As for buying one. 1. Put down a deposit 10 months before they announce it even exists 2. Pray 3. Wait 4. But it 3 years later when your allocation arrives 5. Sell it for double to someone who has too much money 6. Watch the person you sold it to sell it for double 7. Wait for the stock market to crash 8. Buy your car from newest owner @ half of MSRP 9. Enjoy |
^ brilliance. |
For the last GT3RS, the Riviera blue PTS was only opened for a window of 24 hours.... Look at what the last one ended up going for :P |
