-spotted this Huracan Spyder in a parking lot behind my office today.
My co worker is in the video. He said that the hot brunette was nice enough to talk to him and let him take pictures and video. Apparently, she just went to a tanning salon nearby.
Co-worker asked the brunette: " Is this your car?" Hot brunette replied "Yeah, it's my baby. I own it instead of having kids."
-wished that I could leave the office at that time in order to take close up video of that babe and her Huracan Spyder.
Damn, someone imported a NART Spider to Vancouver?
I guess this must be the "deal" with a dealer in California where they got two Vancity Carrera GTs as part of the trade.
Guy I know was in that car show, posted this on facebook about the car:
"Not being a Ferrari expert I had no idea what this was until I read about it in the program. 1967 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spyder. Only 10 were made and only two were handmade alloy bodies. This car was the second one made. Last auction price 24.5 million according to the Driving article in the Vancouver Sun Aug30th."

Yup, super rare car. Last auction price was 24 mil, if it's a concourse ready car now, it will probably fetch up to 30 mil.

I know this is useless without pics, but yesterday I saw a Ferrari 250gto driving down the i5 outside San Francisco. Are there common replicas of this car or did I see a real deal $30000000 car?

Got word that a demo Chiron will be in Vancouver this week. VIP customers will be able to test drive it which doesn't include me lol. I'll be attending a private event in W. Van on Monday with the car on display.

In the late 90s / early 00s when replicas started taking off, the 250 became a really popular choice since it relied on an inexpensive donor car (Datsun 240z / 260z). Most builders put V8s in them and interior appointments would depend on the builder's budget.
This replica talk reminds me of a company out in Sask that built some pretty accurate Diablo replicas. They're long gone but their examples still exist.

There's at least a couple real deal 250 GTOs kicking around SF. Tom Price is one of the owners who takes his red GTO and Testa Rossa to laguna Seca and races them.
