Spotted that youtube "stigs persian cousin" fellow in his heavily modded Gallardo with Dubai plates. Thing is freaking loud. |

https://i.imgur.com/09GEZuw.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/IYySyfu.jpg I spotted this Urus at the airport last night, and wasn't sure if this was an Audi or an Acura when I saw it. For a half million dollar SUV, is definitely didn't have a lot of road presence. The only thing that really stood out to me was the brake/wheel combo. |
^ it's actually around $250k. Still lots of money for a tarted up Q8, but the badge alone is worth $100K:) |
I’ll take a macan s and a 911t instead, then still have money to mod both. If I had any money to begin with that is. |
G Wagon, Cayanne, Q8, Range, etc. I'd say all of the SUV's in it's range are far nicer. And most that are far cheaper are nicer as well. |
I am curious how the Urus will do in 2nd hand market, will depreciation be RR like? or hold value like G Wagons? Regardless, because it is a Q8 dressed up, it might be quite reliable. In 3 years if it is like $100K, might be a great choice |

The costs of maintenance could be high. I mean, dem brakes alone have to be worth the cost of a used Honda. But the low key demeanour of the Urus is what attracts me to it. It's a sleeper Lamborghini that seats 4. It's the kind of vehicle you can take to Whistler, the Opera, or the pub. |
No way the Urus will drop to $100k in 3 years. Most of the Urus locally are well above $265k+ with options. They'll still hover around $200k+. |
^ they just got launched less than 6 months ago and hoovering around $200? $65k depreciation in 6 months! sounds great to me! sounds like someone just bought one new....... |
I think Harvey meant that they should still be worth around $200k in 3 years. They look like a BMW X6. Terrible way to spend $250k+ |
If someone is in the market to buy an SUV in the 200K range, the Bentley Bentayga is a better choice than the Urus based on styling. It's not even close in terms of styling between the Bentley and the Lambo. :lawl: |

just spotted an Urus on Oak Street and its exhaust note sounds weak. like a V6TT...etc. What engine they equip with ? Exterior shape not even standing out in the crowd with Lambo sharp colors. |
Yes, I meant to say they'll still be well over $200k+ 3 years from now. The wait list is pretty long so I don't think they'll drop by much. And no, I didn't buy one. I have no interest in a $300k+ SUV or even a $200k SUV. Only SUV I would spend big money on is the new G wagon which is around $170k. |

The problem is, which I'm sure you're familiar with is that it's such an old chassis, and drives like an old chassis should. MB has done a great job on bringing in new tech to help the aging design, but is still drives like an old truck. For $100k, I would be able to justify it. But for $170k, there are so many better options. Honestly, I was more comfortable in a new Jeep for a third of the price. |
Not the sickest car ever, but I’m totally down for the NSFU “stage 1 graphics package” https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7805/...9fbba6a9_b.jpg |
^ actually kinda cool, but iirc the Impreza within NFSU was an actual Impreza not a WRX. This guy Upgraded! |

^ the Jeep Wrangler lol |
I just checked Autotrader, 2017 Bentley Bentayga with 20K kms is selling for $229K....it was $340K new......lol! -$110K depreciation in less than 2 years..... |

*laughs in British car depreciation* :drunk: |
I lost 28k in 3 years on my Lexus and almost had a stroke.. learned my lesson though. Never buying brand new again lol Unless I become Bentley rich. Then I’m pretty sure I’d be all out of fucks to give in regard to depreciation. |
