Revscene SpottedSpotted Revscene Members all across town
Did you happen to see a Revscene member or a car with a Revscene sticker on the road or somewhere? Or happen to see a car of interest that you'd like to share with pictures? Post it up here!
No picture unfortunately but spotted the white with red accents Koenigsegg Agera RS that i assume is from SR auto today W 4th Ave at 130 today. Looked pretty cool
Can someone school me on how this V250d is able to drive around in BC with BC plates/insurance? Saw this in Squamish and I was quite puzzled. Full on EU spec without amber reflectors and the whole shebang. MB Canada car perhaps?

Same with hot hatches/wagons. Let's take the new A45 for example. The MSRP is just over €56,000, so in Canada it would probably retail for somewhere around $54-55k (below the CLA45). At that price range you could get a pre-owned GT350, a Scat Pack Challenger...
Same with Audi. Instead of the RS4 Avant and RS6 Avant (yes I know the new RS6 Avant is coming here, shut up), we got the RS5 coupe and RS7...liftback? 4-door coupe? I don't know.
The status cars in the U.S. and Canada are SUVs, big sedans and coupes, not hot hatches and wagons.
Now that that's out of the way...here are the spots I've neglected to put up here until now:
Crappy shot of a Fisker Karma in downtown, back in September
F430, rare visitor in my neighbourhood, taken on Christmas Eve 2019
Some sort of Maserati Granturismo but I don't know what. Taken two weeks ago, kinda bad parking job. Owner went into SuperValu. I was fiddling around with the camera settings on my phone so excuse the potato quality:
Two other mysteries that I've encountered. Back in September, I was in the West End for an appointment (same day I saw the Karma), and at Burrard Station I saw two epic cars which I unfortunately failed to photograph.
One was a Brabus G500 4x4², with what looked to be a skinny little Asian gentleman (UBC student?) driving, and what look like his girlfriend in the passenger seat. BC Parks license plate [redacted].
There was another car that followed close by, and I forgot which car it was, but I did write down the license # too, it was [redacted]. Not sure if this counts as doxxing so if posting license plate # in public is against the rules, let me know and I'll remove them.
I'm also curious about SR's cars. Like, does the dealership own them, similar to how FMOV owns the F50? Or are the cars like the Agera RS owned by individuals?

Even more creepily, did you know you can google a license plate, in this case 768TCM, and any images floating around online will show up in the image results.
Coincidentally, 768 TCM was last photographed in this thread in 2013, as a Bentley Continental Cab (?)

There has to be more to it than that, since if you search up any of the other plates (even from that same post) you get nothing.

I think it depends on if there's other items with the same keyword. If so and it's a popular item, it'll be ranked higher.
I was able to find B22703 (the Collector plated Aston Martin) but only if i added the words "collector car" to the search. In which case, it gave me MGReviews . It also gave me other similar looking cars. Otherwise, B22703 would give me Adidas shoes. It's likely to be a product SKU, and since Adidas shoes and shopping typically have a higher website reputation/authority, it is seen first.
Spoiler!
I was also able to find 111LVD with just that keyword. Coincidentally, that plate was also on an E36 posted on RS.

Not gonna lie, I don't do it intentionally, but I remember the license plates of a Phantom, a Dawn, a S600, a G63, Focus RS and STi from my daughters elementary school
Somehow they just stick into my mind, so when I spot them occasionally on another part of the town, I will tell my wife.. Oo look, that person/car is goes to the same school as our kids.. and wife will be like WTF....
