pharrell and kanye made the millionaires super hot when they dropped years ago, turns out to had to be a millionaire to get a pair back then because they were impossible to find, they still are. everyone has their tastes and opinions but i think that pharrell and kanye are fashion icons and to me are great inspirations. they both have a great mix up of high fashion and street culture. what made the millionaires so cool is that it was a collabo between pharrell (who later became a LV model/designer, who else can you say has done that?), nigo (the genius behind the BAPE empire), marc jacobs (the fashion phenom who super boosted LV since 1997, he introduced their clothing lines and many collabos, ie, takashi murakami), and Louis Vuitton (the most sought after and bootlegged label around, check their history and read about the LVMH empire, its impressive). one thing that is super cool about LV is that they have signature designs that have been around for decades, many items are collectors pieces, their products never go on sale as that would "discount" their reputation, and every new year the retail price of their products increases little by little. Ugly. Very very ugly. Those type of glasses should be purged from the earth.

they are good to me because i like the way that they look, other people may not. also to me they are a trophy of the collaborative efforts of fashion designers that i admire, other people may not recognize this or even give damn. pharrell and kanye were the first celebs rockin the millionaires, i appreciate both of these artists as musicians and fashion icons, to me it would be cool to own a pair because of this, other people may not want to own a pair because of this.

everyone, play nice. everyone is entitled to their own opinion so if you want to bash each other on how they are wrong for liking them/not liking them then take it to PM.

These sunglasses are a good investment. Hell, I have a few Dior pieces which I can sell and make almost 30% profit.

Dior = overpriced goods.
Granted holt's had a peacoat that I wanted sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad last year. I waited 2 weeks after boxing day (because it keeps getting cut down) and it got sold
jah, are you like super brown? Because if you wear these you will look like a douche. Unless you are dubai brown then you could pull it off.

Not all Dior pieces hold value, depends on the season/collection and most of the stuff that's gone up in value is from the hedi era and no, lol i'm not a surrey jack brown guy.

The Millionaires are way too flashy - definitely run the risk of looking super douchey. The Evidence is more understated and easier to pull off.

A little over the top IMO.
If you want something different, how about Tom Ford? http://www.tomford.com/#/en/eyewear/mens/sun
I really like the arnauld. If looking like a surrey jack is a concern, I'm positive that 99% of them have never heard of TF.

i have a few pairs of eye glasses from his line and they are amazing, great style and very comfortable. his sunglasses are very nice too, classy and understated... sleek gloss black or a nice wood, horn or zebra print with rose gold or silver accents. tom fords line is great for every day, and is very diff from the LV Millionaires which are just made for stuntin! he designs a lot of his sunglasses for celebs and the line is a fav amongst them, a lot of candid shots of celebs will show them wearing tom ford sunglasses.
check out tom fords fragrance and clothing lines, his fragrance is one of my favs and his clothing is super chic. theres a reason why he was the person who brought gucci from almost going to bankrupt to having the most profitable 10 years in their history.
